unsatisfactory car purchace
I Consigned a 2005 Jeep Liberty with Lakeside auto and also purchased a 2003 Chevy trail blazer. I was told (not in writing) that if the Jeep didn't sell before the next payment was due, That Lakeside auto would write me a check for the payment.
I agreed to this and when the jeep didn't sell like they verbally and confidently asserted that it would, I went to collect the JEEP payment check they were to write for me and they wrote me a check for the payment of the 2003 Chev. Trail Blazer, which was not due at that time anyway and a significantly lower amount than the sum due on the Jeep.
I was told that I had misunderstood.
I would not have agreed to this if I did not completly understand that the Jeep payment would be made in the event that it did not sell in time because I knew I couldn't afford to take the risk of this otherwise.
In addition, the Chevy Trail Blazer had the wrong size tires on it and I believe that when dealing with Lakeside Auto Brokers, Do get everything in writing and check everything thoroughly with exhaustive completeness. There is a great lack of integrity at work at Lakeside Auto Brokers. I made the mistake of not getting it in writing and even referred a friend before I knew about the lack of integrity. That friend was equally taken advantage of.
