Packages Delivered, but NOT!!
I just checked today the status of a package I was expecting last week. Both websites stated it was delivered. BS!! I'm a stay-at-home working mom and I never got a knock on the door or heard the doorbell ring. My puppy barks when she hears any noise outside... ANY noise and on that day at that time it was quiet. I called USPS to report this issue and say my package states it was delivered, but I never received it and she gave me a case # and stated someone would call me once they've looked into the issue and tried to locate the package and speak to the driver. I don't think they will have any information for me other than saying it was delivered. If it was, why would they just drop it off outside the door for someone to steal? Whose fault is that? Do they pay for it? I mean, someone has to be responsible!!

Cannot locate my package
USPS is a useless way of of shipping anything International. You are given a tracking number that cannot track your shipment.USPS also has useless customer service due to the fact you cannot talk to anyone. If it was up to me I would never use them for any kind of shipping. The useless phone options does not give you the voice activation to speak to a customer representative.USPS also doesn't have a Postal Code and Province option for Canada to even send an email. Just curious how these people even stay in business. In case USPS hasn't noticed, there are other countries other than the US.

Worst attitude of all
The attitude of the clerks were just terrible. They use strong language and have no respect for the customers. As if their position is higher than the customers, looking down on each of them. They forget that they are public "servant." Yet, they don't act like servants but irresponsible adults. They got angry and raise voice when I asked questions. I was appalled. It was deeply offensive. Very unprofessional. No smile, but always stressed out angry face. And they never apologize even though they made a mistake and I was waiting in line for more than 30 mins. And they just "ordered" me to move back to the line despite waiting, losing my free time. Where is professionalism in this place? The fundamental of customer service is lacking. If this is a private business, they will go out of business right away. I want to fire all of them and replace with people who has good customer service experience. These clerks were not supposed to be hired in the first place. It really makes me wonder, "How do they get hired in the first place?" Same as DMV, their attitude is horrible, but this particular Post Office is more horrendous. I never get yelled at DMV, but here, I got yelled. In any private business, if you make customers uncomfortable, you get disciplined, but yelling at them? It's out of question, you lose the job. But they don't. Something is really wrong. So I think it needs to have a drastic reform. The worst government service I ever experienced. Probably privatization is needed, if every Post Office is like this in America. Don't use their service.

Postal workers can't read addresses
For MANY years (at least 10) I have been receiving mail belonging to a neighbor on the next block and they have been getting much of our mail. At least every week there are two or three peices, including very important bank statements, retirement statments, etc. that are misdelivered. I DO NOT WANT this information that can be misused delivered to ANYONE else!!! I have called and called and called and complained and complained AND COMPLAINED to NO AVAIL!!! I am EXTREMELY aggravated about this. How incompetent can a company be???? Don't they hire postmen who can read???? Our names are NOT similar. Our street names are different, only the house number is the same.
Can SOMEBODY help me?!?!?!?!?
Attached is the mail I received yesterday. Who knows what my neighbor received that was ours.

Cruel mistreatment of dogs
Letter carriers routinely mace dogs upon approach. This is a cruel and misguided practice. Dog attacks are dramatic, but they are also infrequent. Why don't they wear protective gear if they are in such great danger? Can you imagine if police behaved this way?? What's worse is there is no due process. The supervisor laughed when I claimed the dog was only sniffing. The USPS regards all dogs as a danger and threat. My dog was attacked by a carrier for sniffing his foot. His tail was wagging! He weighs 12 pounds. The USPS does not deserve our business.

Lost my package
I'd mailed out a package (containing face moisturizers, etc...) on 8/13/10 to Singapore at the Pleasantville, NY Post Office & was advised by the staff that it was first-class trackable & has a default insurance of up to $150. After about 2 weeks, I learned that the package still hadn't arrived, after which I took my receipt out & looked closely at it & saw that it was going to France!! I have the correct destination address on the box itself - postal staff told me that it'll be mailed according to the address on the package. But it never arrived.
From then on, I'd gone back to the Pleasantville PO & nobody could help me. I called the 800 # & logged my complaint, & nobody could help me. All anyone could tell me is that my package is untrackable & has no insurance on it, & that I was given incorrect information. The tracking # stated that my package arrived at the Jamaica, NY PO. To cut the long story short, nobody knows where the package is and that there's nothing they can do. So now I'm 1 in the infinite number of people whom USPS has disappointed & let down. So much for trying to give business to them!

Parcel Send from United States to India
Hello friends,
I have send an i-pod to Surat, Gujarat, India via United State Postal Servcies from Los Angeles, CA, US as on 20th July, 2010. The Customs form number is LC279173270US. Its almost 2 months that day and the parcel is not yet received yet. I have called USPS 100 times but no response from those people. The only response USPS people are giving is, it is with Mumbai customs. Can any body suggest me the right person to contact for this.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

lost packages and no return despite policy
Where do I start. For the last 2 years I have been using them to ship orders of custom invitations to people all across the United States. Until this summer, I have had very little problems. Just to put this in perspective, they have lost 5 of the 7 packages I mailed in the last 7 days. One of them was an overnight package. They also were supposed to deliver an overnight package, that was guaranteed the next day by 3 p.m., to California. The lady paid for the service. I looked at usps.com and it stated that it was guaranteed by the next day. Otherwise I would have never purchased the $18 shipping label online. I dropped it off at 5:00 on a Friday. This was Labor Day weekend, so they didn't deliver Monday. So, the package was supposed to arrive on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went. I also waived the signature of the package, and it was clearly stated on the package. Wednesday they attempted to deliver the package to her home, but since she wasn't there to sign for it, they took it back to the post office, UGH! She finally got it Wednesday. So, according to their policy, I am supposed to get my customers shipping money back. I talked to a guy at the post office Tuesday after 3 p.m., and he told me I had to wait until it was delivered and would then be able to get my money back b/c it did not arrive in time. When I went back in Thursday, they told me that their computer was showing that it wasn't guaranteed until Thursday. Keep in mind that that is 4 full business days later; that's after me counting out Sunday and Monday. Why in the heck would Express Mail take 4 days? And why did their website promise it in one business day to that zip code? So, they would not give me my money back. That is totally wrong and against their policy.
They did this same thing about a month ago with an express package. They lady needed some programs for an event that was being held the Sunday. I mailed them out Friday morning, and they were guaranteed by Saturday at noon. Of course, they didn't arrive until Tuesday. I did get my $18 back. But, I had to send this poor woman a file so that she could take it to Kinkos to be printed. I had to foot the bill for this, and it ended up costing me $150 to print what originally cost $35 due to the rush fees. I am SO sick of the USPS. I'm not sure what I'm going to do though. I've got to look into other shipping services. They just lost a big customer. I ship every single day; all packages. I will stop printing invitations completely before I use them again. No wonder email has become so big.

Not taking any responsibility for losing our package
DO NOT EVER USE USPS FOR ANYTHING!!! When they lose your package/mail, they don't take responsibility for it. My sister just recently sent a package via USPS. The tracking shows it as delivered on Monday, but my brother didn't receive it. He asked the mailman at the end of the week, and he stated that he delivered it on Tuesday. The mailman's story doesn't match up with their tracking. My sister called them, and they stated that they couldn't do anything about it because she didn't get insurance. What's the point in sending our mail through them if they aren't going to take any responsibility for LOSING/STEALING our stuff? We might as well just throw our packages away. The possibility of getting our packages to where we want to may even be better if we had the garbage man deliver it. We should all go on strike and not send any more mail/packages through USPS. We need to do something to make them listen and do something about it. It doesn't matter how much we complain, it doesn't do anything. IF WE ALL STOPPED SENDING OUT MAIL AND PACKAGES THROUGH USPS, THIS WILL DEFINITELY GET THEIR ATTENTION. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, THIS WILL GET THEM TO STOP AND REALIZE THAT THEY DO NEED TO TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY. SO WHAT DO YOU ALL SAY? IN FOR IT? I THINK WE SHOULD GET AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO STOP SENDING MAIL/PACKAGES THROUGH USPS. MAKE THEM HURT AS MUCH AS THEY'VE HURT US!!!1

Can't find my house
I don't know what's wrong with my address but every time I order something online I always receive the same error "Undeliverable as addressed".
I tried to avoid them at all costs but sometimes they don't give you an option. I have called many many times and the only thing they say is sorry but they don't really care or fix the problem.
Why do I get spam and crappy mail but never anything from other companies (including bills etc) ?
I just don't get it!
