I have attached pic of the flooring I purchased from Lumber Liquidators. I am not a professional, just a handy homeowner.
This was my seventh install. I usually use home depot/lowes products, never having a problem and awesome customer service. This was my first time dealing with this LL.
I purchased 1100 sq.ft. of Norway Oak for $0.78 sq.ft. and installed at night after work (Lowes wanted $1.29 sq.ft. for their cheapest and wanted to save money).
After installing about 1/2 of floor, my wife noticed this cupping of the floor during daytime with sun shining on it (we were not living in home at the time).
I opened another box and laid a few pieces on the floor and they were cupped out of the box. I called LL and was told it was my fault for not checking product prior to leaving store. Are you kidding me? 1100 sq ft.? Then they wanted me to spend $300 to have humidity test done in my home. Wait a minute, these are bad out of box. I have 3 unopened boxes left, and sent 2 pcs back with no results.
I will not deal with them anymore. Do your homework. This company has a lot of complaints. I wish I would have spent the $1.29 at Lowes.
