My wife and I seem to have fallen prey to another Time Share scam vulture. After spending sick amounts of money to "so called" time share sales companies, that charge you a fortune up front to sell your time share, and then never hear from them again, we were sent a postcard to set up a meeting with "Vacation Ventures". After a two hour speech, we were so desperate to rid ourselves of the two timeshares we had, we paid these people $4, 995.00 to take them off our hands. This was on October 12th 2009. We were told to pay the Maintenence Fees, and would be reimbursted by this company after they recieved proof of payment. Now, they can't be reached, will not return phone calls, or emails and have totally dropped the ball with their responsibilities to this agreement. How can I take action against these people. Is there a way to make them accountable? They have left us in such financial trouble, it's staggering. What happened to good old honest conducting of business. These people are thieves and con artists.
