Inaccurate pump
My wife filled the tank of our car. When she got home I saw that she had been charged for 14.8 gallons. Since our car only holds 13.2 gallons (and probably only had room for 11.5 that night — the low fuel light had just gone on), I went to the store to tell them. I showed the owner the receipt and the gas tank capacity in the owners manual, but I got nothing but head scratching.
Now I don't see how I can trust these pumps again or any Valero pump for that matter.

gas price posting
All weekend I watched this. The gas price on the sign posted by the road was $3.86 / gallon. When you pull in, the price on the pump was $3.96
Is this a way to get people in who would not recheck the actual price? This stinks. Bad enough that gas is so high, but to try and lure you in with false advertising is a low move.

selling alcohol to someone already drunk
The last two times I have went into the Valero listed above, the cashier has sold a six pack of beer to an already drunk customer. I and my family are on the roads in Conroe daily, and I would hate to think that someone I love or anyone for that matter his injured or killed by someone driving around with more beer. I have talked to the manager before, but to no avail. I believe that they do not care who they sell it to, as long as they make the money. I have tried to reach the corporate office to file a complaint with Valero directly, but only get consumer complaints for bad gas. I think this is far worse than someone getting bad gas. If you can not help me, please put me in contact with someone who can. Thank You

Debit Card Fraud
Filled my tank with gas at this station on November 10, 2010. Gave attendant my debit card to pay. He kept my card in the card reader for a VERY long time--at least 15 minutes' more after my car registered full and the pump turned off. I had to roll down my window and scream at him to return my card. Within 24 hours of leaving the gas station, I had over $120 removed from my checking account--my bank caught it before I did and cancelled the card. Charges are from bogus websites, operating out of the U.K., none made by me--they have sweet names like MF REEL, and www.globularsupport.com--the latter is a clearinghouse for pay-per-view internet porn!! My bank is investigating the fraud, may take up to 90 days to get the money back in my account. I made a full police report--I'd like to not see this happen to anyone else at this gas station. I won't be using Valero anymore--I'll go out of my way to find another gas station. And I'll be using a credit card to pay for my gas from now on--or cash. Google VALERO and SKIMMING--you will find this is a problem across the USA.

Overcharged at the pump
Pushed the 2.99/gal regular button - charged 3.19 premium! told clerk that there is something wrong with the pump and he yelled at me three times that I DID PUSH the button for expensive gas when I know for a fact that I had to push it twice to get the pump to work and it was for the 2.99/gal - not 3.19!
He was very rude and obviously didn't want to waste his time talking to me so I will let everyone I know that drives along Ygnacio Valley Blvd in Walnut Creek, CA to go somewhere else. The station must have changed hands - I have never dealt with such a rude person there before so I can only assume that it is under new ownership from the last time I bought gas there.
what a SCAM! ! ! I have been pumping my own gas for many years and know the difference - I always use regular and that pump #8 somehow switched my request to premium.

BAD GASOLINE
I FILLED UP MY CAR TODAY WITH GASOLINE FROM A VALERO GAS STATION. WHEN I GOT TO DO ONE OF MY ERRANDS AND I WENT BACK TO THE VEHICLE. MY CAR WOULD NOT START. I HAD MY CAR TOWED TO THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE GASOLINE IN MY VEHICLE WAS BAD. I HAD TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS AND WANT TO BE REIMBURSED BY VALERO.

GAS PUMP RIP OFF
On November 12, 2008 I went to the Valero at the intersection of Military Pkwy/Masters. I paid for $10 in gas at $1.94 which SHOULD equate to about a quarter tank of gas in my 2002 ford expedition. The pump showed that I'd received 5 gallons but I only got half of that. I am positive of this amount because the night before, I'd put $10 in from Shell and got a little over a quarter of a tank. Although I see Valero generally has a drop in their gas prices before any other station. That station is a RIP-OFF. Which will cause me to be leary of them in the future. READERS BEWARE, GET A RECEIPT, AND DEMAND THE GAS YOU PAY FOR!!!

5 bucks for nothing
I pulled in to Valero #06436467001 on Saratoga and Moorpark, in San Jose, CA. All I needed was for them to loosen a screw on my rear-view mirror with an allen wrench. The mechanic on-duty loosened it and asked for 5 dollars. "For what?" I asked. Paid him (which I saw him pocket) and decided to boycott Valero. Fist of all this employee should be reported for arbitrarily charging customers. With gas prices being what they are, how dare Valero employees charge for loosening a f*****g screw. I was a good customer, but I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

attendant is not answering
I went to valero gas station this morning 7/7/08 I used my
credit card and did not even asked for a picture i.d. and then
after i used the gas i noticed that my tire was flat so i went back and got tokens. the air machine was not working so i went to the window again and rang the bell and rang the bell the lady attendant was not coming out. I waited for 10 minutes I'm already late for work, and finally i had to just use my key to knock on the door . Then, she had came out. I don't know what it is that she was doing at the back. I let her know that the machine is not working if she can give me another token bec. this happened before when i put in 3 tokens and it did not work. So all she had to do is give me another token and the machine would have worked. California law states that when we purchase gas then air and water is free. She said she did not have another token. So they only keep 3 tokens in their register? I asked her well can she give me a quarter so it can work she said no. This is not the first time that this incident happened with this lady attendant. How do I complain to the gas station owner?

Very rude clerk
I visited a Valero corner store # 4199 in Bossier City Louisiana Airline Drive Location. The clerk was Miochi Thornton. This clerk was very rude and just a plain *** I would never recommend stopping at one of these stores they need to better train theses people!!! I really hate dealing with these folks that wake up in the morning living from pay check to pay check so they are mad at the world well let me tell you this go get you a better EDUCATION- Ed ja ma ca tion as they say then you will be where I am until then get a life.
