In April we took our new puppy to Scott's Valley Veterinary Clinic, Inc. and prepaid a puppy package. Later the puppy's original owners demanded her back, and sadly she was relinquished. When we contacted SVVC to refund the puppy package, (146.00) we were told it is nonrefundable and nontransferable. Of course, they provided a promotional flier that shows this written in small print at the bottom. This was never disclosed to us, nor did we, to our knowledge agree to these terms, nor could we have foreseen the loss of the puppy.
Because we paid for the package on our credit card, I'm stuck with the bill, and the interest, and have no dog to show for it. We're simply asking for the refund of the portion of the package that was not rendered.
