I've ordered blinds and shutters from Value Blinds in December 2010. The salesperson, Deborah, has mentioned the time of delivery would be the last week of January. She has also mentioned Value Blinds got A+ review and great customer satisfaction. I believed what she has said and decided to go with the company.
Weeks after weeks of waiting, no follow up call from Deborah. I decided to call to find out the status of my shutters. After several attempts getting in contact with Deborah, I finally got a hold of her. Per our conversation on January 31st, 2011, she denied the shutters will not arrive the end of January. The same day, I have requested a copy of the invoice but when I received it, it was not the original invoice that I signed for. Value Blinds used the original of the invoice with my signature and copied on a new invoice with new grand total and time of delivery. I found that it is a very poor business practice and dishonest.
The date I signed the agreement, Deborah did not mention the shutters are made in China and a delay is expected due to Chinese New Year. She mentioned the orders are on the ship, however, she can't provide an expected delivery date. Her word has not been shown to be reliable. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service and time of delivery. I did not find A+ rating on Value Blinds. Misleading selling information and disrespectful manner presented by the salesperson.
