My husband and I purchased a 2006 Cadillac from Van Chevrolet in 12/06 and were very pleased with the service and our sales consultant, Diana Freerksen. When we purchased the car my husband and I asked several questions and one of the questions I asked was, in case I was ever stranded, what do I do? We were told we could call Van Chevrolet and they would make sure I was given a car to drive and everything would be taken care of. In Janurary 2010, I was shopping in Overland Park Kansas and on a Saturday afternoon my 2006 Cadillac would not move out of park. I called OnStar and we walked throught the appropriate steps and it was evident I would be stranded. I called Van Chevrolet and was told all the sales consultants were busy and someone would call me back. I waited for quite some time and called back only to be told the rental car dept was closed and everyone was busy and still no one had called me back. I found a card with Diana Freeksen cell number and called her, only to find out that she had transferred to Broome Cadillac in Independence, Missiouri and she was more than happy to take care of my car and took it upon herself to come pick me up and made arrangements for me to have a car to drive home, which is about 80 milses away. Diana went above and beyond and made me feel very safe during this stressful time. I am very disappointed with Van Chevrolet and the way this situation was handled. I feel this dealership failed miserably when this situation arose. We are longtime GM customers and our next vehicle will problably be a competers vehicle. Tim and Cheryl Knapp
