Vauxall Vectra, 18 months old still under warranty, three weeks ago the engine blew up, Vauxhall refuse to repair the car under warranty.
The CDTDI has a regeneration program if you run the car on a short journey, next time you start the car it goes into the regen mode, it take fuel to start this program and if interuppted it dumps the fuel into the oil chamber. The oil level rises putting the potenial driver and passengers at risk of vechile failure. The manual does not state if this regen program is interuppted it dumps the fuel this way or to ~CHECK FOR RISING OIL LEVELS~ but according to Vauxhall Technical Engineers it is my fault and therefore am responsible for the repair myself.
I have gone through all channels and no one at Vauxhall wants to help with cost of repairing my Vectra. £5000 plus.
I would not reccommend a Vauxhall, as the Warranty is not worth the paper it is written on.
