TRICKY BASTARDS!... so on Aug 7 09 I clicked on a link to test a "30 day free trial" of GOOGLE's Mokey making software... the page/ ad displayed a claim that you can make $600+/day within 1 week of using the kit and only paying $1.97 for shipping(and then $69.95/mnth after 30days. I trusted it because it was seen on MSNBC morning news as a successful and because it was from GOOGLE. immediately after my submission I get a confirmation page that says I will be charged $29.95 processing fee in addition to the $1.97... I called google (1-877-402-2666) right away to cancel it, I didnt want to pay $30+ dollars to try something.. they assured me it was cancelled and that I would not be charged.. HERE WE ARE PEOPLE... 60 FREAKIN DAYS LATER and I get a charge for the $29.95 from the "intermediate processing company VBL alterfunds (1-800-509-8479) on my bank account... I went livid... I called them and YES>>> I RIPPED THOSE SCAMERS A NEW ONE. they tell me that although I cancelled the package from being sent out with GOOGlE, the software is through alterfunds and NOT google... how the hell would I know that?... I demanded my refund because no one with any sence is going to pay for something they didnt get... she (trickor) pleaded with me (the innocent) to try it before I cancel it (of course! so once I try it they can tell me that the charge is valid because I used it???!!) HELL NO - "Give me back my money you theif!" was my response... she cancelled my account in the system and said Ill be refunded in 7-14 days... I got a confirmation # posted in red sharpie on my fridge... I am reporting this to BBB and they'd better hope I dont see any other charges on my account and that I get my refund as promised.
