I have had a bad experience with VCSALES.COM / 21st Century Gaming Entertainment Inc. I believe they are scammers am working with an attorney to resolve my issues. It's a pretty intricate fraud ring they have going on and I want to warn all who consider working with them.
I placed an order w/ them for Second Life Linden dollars 5 days ago & they haven't delivered. The problem is their web-site states it takes 1hr to 24hrs to deliver after receipt of order - with 24hrs being the "rare" case. When I called them they would not talk about my order, only instruct me to log-in to their Live Chat. They sounded very far away, bad reception, very unprofessional as they told me in broken English to login to Live Chat. The first time I talked to them on Live Chat I asked about the delay in delivery. They said they were "stocking my order now" and that they just needed to verify I was the buyer on the Pay Pal account. They asked me to scan a copy of a credit card & drivers license/id to verify my identity, but I could cover some of the numbers.No way, isn't that what Pay Pal is for? Does anyone else think this is weird? They acted shocked that I didn't want to do this, but they eventually agreed they would verify with Pay Pal. The next day my order was verified, they sent an email to confirm. So when I talked on the Live Chat and asked when my Linden would be delivered they said they were out of stock. Hmm, the night before they said they were stocking my order so how could this be?
It gets even more twisted. Since I had paid thru Pay Pal I received the typical Pay Pal email showing that my funds went to a company called 21st Century Gaming Entertainment Inc. I tried to look up VCSales.com on the BBB (Better Business Bureau ) and nothing came up. But when I looked up 21st Century Gaming Entertainment Inc it had some hits. The interesting thing is that their address is the same address listed on VCSales.com's contact address for their United States, a location in Plano Texas. The BBB report states that the company's website is www.vcsales.com. The report shows that the phone number is disconnected and it specifically states that if you are having issues obtaining a refund, or receiving your purchase that you should seek legal help as they are unable to pursue this company.
Bingo, vcsales.com is 21st Century Gaming Entertainment Inc - they are one in the same. Since the BBB couldn't track them under the Plano TX address I did some more research and found out that 21st Century Gaming Entertainment Inc has more addresses. Looks like they pick up and move on before anyone gets too hot on their tail. I found that they are affiliated with some more on-line auction selling and sell under other names besides vcsales.com. I just found out this info today doing my research. They are also involved with whois DomainTools and somehow related to Aftermarket.com Domainer Mardi Gras Auction. I don't know if these other companies are part of the scam but if you are thinking of doing any financial transaction through these you'd be wise to fully research, check w/ the BBB etc. I didn't realize other people had issues with vcsales.com till they didn't deliver my purchase. I researched the company before I bought from them and I thought they were legit because their competitors list them on their web-sites, and because a few articles like this on the web stating they sold cheap, etc. When I searched vcsales.com with the word "scam" included, I found that other people have had the same experience I have. I wonder how many people they've ripped off. How many people just give up because it's not worth their time or the hassle. I wonder what happened to all these people that had issues with this company and how are they still running their business. I'm thinking of pursing a class action lawsuit. If anyone reads this & has had a similar experience then I think you should join me in taking legal action, as the Better Business Bureau has suggested. They are taking advantage of people through Internet Fraud.
Do not use this company they will lie to your face, rip you off, and scam you with no mercy. Then they will act like they've done nothing wrong and ask for more time. "So sorry, my workmates are working hard for you, can you give more time, hello." I can imagine a few people working in a room using fake English or Japanese sounding names on the Live Chat - is this to reassure us? And the picture for Live Chat of the nice professional looking lady with the headset - that is as fake as they get. This web-site is all smoke and mirrors, do not be fooled. I am a professional and should have known better. I even researched this company and felt secure prior to my purchase. This made me realize if you think it can't happen to you, beware. I looked into about 15 different Linden and WOW Gold Brokers and found vcsales.com had the best price and it looked like their site was one of the nicer ones. I found out the hard way that if it looks too good to be true then it probably is.Buyer beware, it can happen to you. Don't give these cyber terrorists your money.
