i lost over $2000 for late payment they did not make for me with my credit card
after my auto dealer auto warrenty expired I started recieving pressure sales calls to buy extended warrenty for my car I bought from Nisson. this car was to be passed on to my daughter who is getting her drivers licence very soon. I got talked into a contract thru vehicle services Inc. and made payments to Mepo finance corporation and the warrenty company was consumer direct warrenty services. I paid monthly payments to them thru a credit card.that same card eventually had fraudulent charges on it so I canceled the card and told all involved to send me payments by mail. They never came. I recieved late payments called all involved and made a now payment on the phone to vehicle services inc but they never did. eventually i made a payment by mail and called vehicle services a few days later and to chek my status and they said everything was setteled and I waited for more payments cupons in the mail but none arrived. when I filed a claim a few weeks later the auto shop said i the contract was null and void. I called all involved and vechile services inc. said the credit card number i gave them was wrong ( they were still trying to use the credit card I had cancled) and told me I was 90 days late and they said read your contract is says if you are 90 days late they keep all my $2000 no refund no chance to make up payments all because they said they got the wrong number from me on the phone. I called Mepo finance who i thought would have paid my contract in full and go after me for late payments from them but they did not pay the warrenty company and would not let me catch up. I called vehicle warrenty servisces and they said it was to late and I could not get my money refunded. they lyed to me that day i called to conferm my contract was good and that they made my credit card payment for me to Mepo financial so my warrenty with consumer direct warrenty services was good. I had the momey all along to keep the contract good but with the mixup of canceled credit card, no credit card payment maid and pauyment maid thru the mail was not enough and they took my payment after the contact was cancled I am out over $2000.please help me with this problem. this is not the american way to do bussiness to take all my invested money and keep for late payments.
