Verison Wireless Reviews

Charging for Service I did not order
I have been a costomer of Verison Wireless for well over a decade. I have 2 cell phones and a wireless broadband card. I have VZ Navigator on one phone and my bill should run a little less than $300/month. I bought a Blackberry Storm about 4 months ago and receive all of my bills and corrospondence electronicaly. My bills are paid automatically. Well it seems that Verison enabled my phone to be used as a modem for my computer that was supposed to be free for 30 days. I did not ask for or order this service since I have a modem card for wireless broadband which I pay $60 plus a number of other fees they always tack on and I get unlimited minutes. I seldem use the card but it is great when I do need it. I had no idea that I needed to cancel this unsolicited service on my phone and after checking my last few bills I descovered these charges. I talked to at least 4 people and they only wanted to give me credit for 1 month ($30) and finially I was offered $45. I told them I would not settle for anything less than all the charges for this unwanted, unused and unsolicited service refunded. The last person I talked to just kept on talking on and on after I told him if he would not refund all the money that the conversation was over and I asked him at least 20 times to talk to his supervisor and he just kept on talking and saying is was my responsibility yadda yadda yadda. He never would tell me who his supervisor was or connect me to anyone over him. By the way I just bought another new phone from them about 3 days ago which made my contrtact extend 2 more years. To recoupe my money I guess I could take the last phone back and cut out my modem card and cancel my navigator and cut my phone plan to the minimum since I don't use this phone much. I can then go to AT&T for my second phone and modem card. I guess the big bad Verison Wireless had rather have that $120 and lose me as a costomer rather than continue getting the nearly $300 a month. I used to think VW was a good and fair company but since they almost have a monopoly I guess they think they can get away with anything. My name is William Gilder and if anyone knows of more sites I can post this you can find me on Twitter under the name "LakeLoon" Maybe we could start a Twitter site for VW complaints.

$10,000 per month Internet Service?
I have had Verison Wireless broadband service for about 1 year. My normal combined bill (cell and broadband) is between $200 and $300 per month. This month I recieved my monthy cell bill and it was for $10, 000. When contacted Verizon's customer service agreed to correct the overcharge.

Now they have recanted and are demanding $10, 000 for a month of Internet service.
