I went to best buy to buy a computer I picked one out while i was waiting for my computer to be picked from backroom a verizon repersentative offered me a deal for 150.00 off of my computer if i was to sighn up for one year internet service for the price 19.99 a month. who wouldnt take that deal I got my first bill and gess what it was 39.99 a month. after 2 months of arguing i finnally got my offered deal. excusses where made appollagies were given all and all what a battle it was. ONe year later my contract expired (feb 27 2009) so 2 weeks prior to my experation date I called to renew with another special I saw on my verizon central page for 19.99 amonth for 2 years. I was told we would just continue without a break so we would not have worry about prorating an d partial montrh nonsense. (Guess what) yes you guessed right 39.99 amonth the bill read, with all the partial month garbage credits ajustments and so on after 15 fights on the phone im still not sure what the verdict is. Im sure if I opt out they slam me with early termination fees . I know if your reading this your thinking what would i come back for aggravation. I just didnt know this was common practice.
