I have had Verizon FiOS TV and Internet for over 1 year. Within that year, they have terminated my FiOS TV service twice. The first time, I called and spent over 2 hours on the phone with them trying to find my account although I had given them my account number, name on the account, phone number and any other information. Apparently my account was somehow deleted for unknown reasons and therefore terminated... I finally learned after I wasted 2 hours of my life.
The second time my service was terminated, I was on the phone for 3 1/2 hours and talking to 20+ service representatives (which includes one supervisor and being transferred to and from the same department multiple times). I had been consistently paying my bill (on average $150) each month. Supposively, a few payments over the year were short thus adding up to $94 overdue. After about 2 hours on the phone with Verizon, it was finally figured out that the $94 owed was the reason for termination. I was never notified that my account would be terminated. I was then transferred back and forth for over an hour while trying to pay my outstanding balance. Finally, after a total of over 3 1/2 hours, I was able to pay my bill and had to schedule a reinstall date... even though the equipment was still in my house.
Stick with Comcast or DirectTV.
