Verizon allowed Auto Pilot Profit Sites to bill me $19.99 for the month of December and January without my knowledge or approval. These charges were added to my phone bill. Verizon a practice called cramming.Verizon never notified me by e-mail, phone or post card that changes were made to my account. Verizon claims it is legal and will not help me get back my money. I have called and canceled my subscription to Auto Pilot Profits Sites. They tell me a check is in the mail for the month of January, but they cannot refund me for the month of December.
I asked for an address to write to them and they gave me a fake address in Arizona, an address of an empty lot. Next to it is a car wash facility. Auto Pilot informed me supposedly my check for one month is in the mail and I should receive it within in 7-10 days. However this means I am still out $19.99. I contacted my bank and they are going to help me get back my money, but I have to fill out an affidavit and get this notarized.
Auto Pilot Profits Sites never offered me any services. They are crooks. I never received any e-mails or any kind of marketing information or contact that they claim is part of their web hosting package. When I called them an canceled my subscription they did send me a confirmation e-mail, which leads me to believe that this was the first time they ever sent me an e-mail. All they need to claim someone subscribed to their service is your phone number and name.
Verizon is not helping get back my money. They don't seem to care.
Their customer service representatives on the phone were rude and insensitive. After speaking to several agents they finally agreed to place a block on my account for cramming, something they should have offered me years ago.
I sent e-mail to customer service and to abuse at Verizon. I waited 48 hours before I got the response from customer service it looks like your problem has been resolved and from abuse that they are looking into this matter and have decided my claim may not be abuse.
I changed how I pay my Verizon bill. I will not longer allow them to bill me each month on my credit card, which was a convenient way to pay but a dangers one.
If any of you have your phone carrier billing you each month on your credit card I suggest you terminate this.
Your bill automatically gets paid before you have a chance to review it and offers you no way to stop a payment from going through.
If you were billed by your telephone carrier for third party subscriptions that you did not order please post your comments
