I ordered my Droid X at 2:00 in the morning on the 15th. The next morning I had a confirmation e-mail from Verison and information how to track the status. I looked at it about 9:00am and it said something and at the end it said call tomorrow. I called right away asking what call tomorrow means I should get it deliverd that day since I placed the order at 2:oo am. She told me don't worry yours will be among the first on the truck and I would get a confirmation e-mail around noon. Still had the same message so I called back and was told the same thing. That afternoon Verizon announced that any orders place after 2:30 would be shipped the 23rd. The next day my messaged said willl ship when stock is available? I called that morning and was told it was ready for shipment and will go that day. Never got the confirmation e-mail and called about 7:0 pm that evening a was told that their automated system (This system removes all blame from the) didn't process my payement until 6:00 pm that day so I fell in with the group who ordered after 2:30 and would get ming on the 23rd shipment.
I was lied to and screwed in this one transaction with Verizon so bad it has had me steamiing for four days now. I have been on the blogs and there are people who ordered all through the day that did get their phone, I mean good for them but it is just wrong. Another transaction with Verizon that has left me pissed of.
