We have four dogs and had each of them insured with this company for several years. One dog developed a tumor on her leg and the bill was over two thousand dollars to remove it. VPI paid two hundred dollars. They determine how much the surgery should cost and then they determine how much they will pay. How they determine what these surgeries and services should cost is a mystery. Their estimates do not even come close to the actual fees for these servicss on the east coast or I am guessing anywhere else.Choose a company that says they will pay a fair percentage of what the actual bill is.
