Vibrant Whitening:
A friend recommended I send in for a free trial of their teeth whitening product. Received the trial sample product on the day I was leaving for vacations. Upon return from my trip I received another shipment that inclueded a note stating that because I had not contacted them I had automatically been enrolled in the 30 day continnuity program & had been charged $88.97. I confirmed that the charge had hit my bank account thru Master Card Debits. I have not opened the original sample shipment or the subsequent shipment. I called Vibrant White 888-264-5497 to cancel and to demand my money back. The operator canceled my order but stated that the billing department can only be reached via their website [email protected].
Dazzle White:
Called their customer service 866-989-2686Basically the same problem except I have not received a subsequent shipment yet. However, my back account has been hit with a $58.97 charge for receiving continuing shipments. I was given a cancellation number #256775 and told to mail the unopened product I have recived to Dazzle White, P.O. Box 102133, desmoines Iowa 50381 I was also given a code to place on the outside of the box in which I returned the product. Supposedly I will receive a refund once they receive the unopened product back.
This is clearly consumer fraud and even if I am able to sercure refunds (dubious) I intend to pursue this via Master Card and will consult with my attorney.
