I went to this dealer on Sunday, May 31, 2009 looking for two cars. My budget was really tight but the sales person was trying to help us. They had a jeep liberty for $17.000.00, and I was looking to pay $15.000.00 for both cars a jeep and any other economic car. I told to the sales man that the jeep was to much for me because I wanted two cars for that price but he insisted in helping me to get both cars even if the jeep was to expensive. I filled the application and all the paperwork. He asked me for a check to hold the jeep. He told me the check was just a holding and that I will get my check back even if I did not want to get the car.
I was approved but just for the jeep, they never include the second car information, even I told them that I did not want a jeep for $17, 000.00. I called them and I asked to cancel everything and to destroy the check. Javier one of the sales men told my husband “we are raping the check right now” that was on June 2, 2009 at 1:00pm. January 4, 2009 I checked my bank account and actually this dealer cashed the check for $100.00 on June 2 when they told my husband that they ripped. We call that day and told them the situation and they promised to send a new one. We called them the next day and Javier said that he sent the check the day before. We wait three days. We never received the check. My husband called the manager really angry on June 9, and she apologized for the inconvenient and promised to send another check, we waited two days and we did not received the check. We called her on June 11 and she said that the check was send it the day before but we did not receive anything, today is the 15th we don’t have our money.
This company from the beginning lies to me saying that they want to help me to get to cars and they just approved me for one that was far from my budget. They also cashed a check that they promise never cashed in any situation because is just a holding, and that they customer always get the check back even if they don’t want the car. And they told my husband the ripped the check when they never did it. They never sent me the money, they stole my money. Javier, Knowledge (sales man), and the manager.
