I, Sandeep Naik resident of Andheri (E) bought Videocon LCD d2h, model 3201 vide Invoice no. 03-AN08-10S1AOUF 2 on Saturday, 1st August 2010 from Vijay Sales, Andheri (W), near Shopper’s Stop. I got the delivery of LCD on Monday, 3rd August 2010 evening. While purchasing this LCD, I was told about installation of the same within 2 days of delivery.
On 4th August 2010, I called up Vijay Sales to check about the status on installation. In response, I was informed that someone from Videocon will come within 2 days for installation. They also gave me Videocon’s office & their call centre’s contact number. I called up Videocon call center & registered a call (Ref. No. MUM0408100393). They also mentioned that this request should have come from Vijay Sales office.
Nobody turned up, neither received call from any body till 5th August 2010 end of the day. I, then called up twice to Videocon Call Centre on 6th August 2010 to check on the status of my call. They only kept on mentioning that we have raised urgent request to Videocon. I also called Videocon’s office on the same day & again they said it will take 2 days. I then called up Vijay Sale’s head office number & spoke to the manager about my concerns. He took me in conference with the manager of Vijay Sales, Andheri (W) branch. He promised me to take care of the situation & said we will take care of your request.
I was waiting for a follow-up call from some one from Vijay Sales, however it was a total disappointment. I then called up Vijay Sales office & they said person from Videocon will come for installation. Again, nobody turned up on that day too.
On 6th August 2010, I got another surprise from Videocon person saying I was contacting wrong Videocon office & they asked me to log a call with Videocon d2h support. This was really disgusting. I then called up Vijay Sales Andheri (W) office again & was very loud while talking to them. They then promised me that someone will definitely come immediately for the installation. After 4 hours of waiting, nobody turned up as usual. I then called up Vijay Sales office & they gave me mobile number of a person responsible for the installation. I called up a person & he expressed his non-availability for that day & promising for the next day.
After 4 days of constant follow-up, I got a strong feeling that Vijay Sales is just not bothered about customer satisfaction, service & support. It also gave me a feeling that they did not take any initiative at all in coordinating for the installation. This is not the first instance for me with Vijay Sales’s service & support. I had similar experience a year back when I purchased LG washing machine.
Does Vijay Sales believe in after sales service & support?
Is Vijay Sales least bothered about customers once the product is sold as they have name in the market?
I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH VIJAY SALES AFTER SALES SERVICE & SUPPORT.
