Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a prepaid broadband account from VSNL. My user id is [email protected]. On 2007-11-08, I had purchased a renewal pack of unlimited plan for 3 months with 256kbps speed (Power On & On 3 - 256). I had ordered this renewal pack online from their website and my order no was 1490088. I got it recharged from customer care and it got effective from 14th November, 2007.
Their website shows an offer valid from 8th November, 2007 till February 6, 2008. As per the offer, any volume, time based and unlimited customer upgrading to any of the Unlimited 128, 256 or 512 Kbps plans with a validity of 3, 6 or 12 months is eligible for bonus Additional days of data transfer . As per upgrade to Plan Power On & On 3-256 which I have renewed, I am eligible for 13 days of further extension in my validity period apart from 90 days as per the plan.
Even after the renewal, I have not got the benefit of additional 13 days since as per the plan Bonus value will be given as a top up value to the account and proportionate increase in the validity of the pack. My validity period currently shows 13th Feb, 2008 whereas it should be 26th Feb, 2008. I have registered many complaints i.e. Complaint ids 4327980, 4283542 and a couple more that I do not have currently. All the complaint id details and my calls to customer care should be available in VSNL records. I have called customer care many times, but they always assure that my validity will be extended in next 24 hours, but till date no success. I feel really cheated and VSNL is trying to grab customers showing false commitments. I have already warned customer care a couple of times, that if they do not resolve my issue, then I will file a complaint against them, but no use.
With this complaint, I really hope that my complaint should get addressed and action is taken against these false practices.
