While vacationing on the island of Vieques in Jan this year our beach bag, which also had our airline tickets in it, was stolen.
A few days later when we arrived at the Vieques Air Link desk in the small airport there we were informed we must buy two more tickets to replace the lost ones. This, despite the fact that they had a record of us already paying for the tickets that were stolen. It was "company policy" we were told in no uncertain terms, that lost tickets would not be honored, even though they knew you had already paid for them. I have checked and can find no other airline with this policy. I think it is outrageous and dishonest to take advantage of customers this way.
