I hired this company 3 years ago to design and host my custom website. All was fine with them back then. It appears the company has split apart as it is now just run by "Steve", and Steve has taken a full time job in Chicago to an unrelated company.
Apparently, they did not have my latest billing bank card information, so they closed down my website (fine- that part I understand)- but- 7 days ago, on a Monday morning, I discovered this, emailed them immediately, and said, "please send my my login/password so that I can update my billing information and you can get my site back up". I hear back from him at 10 pm- WITH NO INFORMATON, basically telling me to call him tomorrow on his cell phone "but he may not be able to answer because he will be at his job"... The long and the short of it is this: I sent at least 5 emails, phone calls, my husband called- it was endless- I JUST NOW GOT THE TOTAL AMOUNT OWED ($89.00) LATE LAST NIGHT- 6 DAYS AFTER INITIALLY REQUESTING IT. He kept arguing with me, was arrogant, not helpful, combatative, uncaring, it was unreal. I even told him several days ago in an email, "all you needed to do was provide me with the login/password (or email the pass word reset) and I would have updated the billing- and that would have been the end. NOPE- It took 7 days!!! AND NEVER AN APOLOGY OR ANYTHING REMOTELY CLOSE!!! If I were you, and you've done work with Viper Dezigns or are considering it, I would check in with them and see how quickly you get a response these days- it was beyond frustrating, plus I lost business because ultimately my site was down for a full 7 days over $89.00!!!
If you still do business with them, I would immediately change before you find yourself in the same spot I was in...and unable to get it resolved becasue they are so unresponsive and when they do respond, they just argue...
By the way, I have dated emails to back up each and every allogation.
