Virgin holidays produced a preview brochure which they stated would have the cheapest price for next years holiday (2010) if you booked by 22nd April 2009. If the price is chepaer in their 1st edition brochure, they will lower the price we have paid. After looking on the net I noticed that now the 1st edition brochure is out, they have introduced a free disney "quick dinning plan" to all bookings, valid for the date I am travelling. This means my holiday is now £1878.84p more expensive. Their answer is that the preview brochure price is a guess and that market forces mean they have introduced this. Fine, but why garauntee to be chepaer in the preview brochure. I could understand it if it was months ago that I booked, but htis is less than a month. It would be cheaper for me to cancel, loose my £960 deposit and re-book. But why should I give £960 of my very hard earned money to Virgin for selling me a lie! I was lead to believe that I was doing the right thing by booking before the 1st edition brochure was released. I feel so cheated, and dissapointed in Virgin and i have over a year before I even go on this holiday.
