after having the service for over 5 yrs I cancelled my service-- requesting a check for the 70.00 of prepaid service. they said they don't refund prepaid funds. I feel this is bad customer service after 5 years of paying prepaid

My son purchased a "Rumor" model phone with a pre-paid, limitless text-messaging account from Virgin Mobil in July. The phone service worked beautifully until August when he was DOUBLE charged for the service and a refund was never made. In September, this month, we did not expect to be charged again, but we were. Meanwhile, his text-messaging service is not working. We have been on the phone for at least 7 hours trying to get someone to help us. We have called 1-888-322-1122 and have been referred to the Spint number of 1800-569-0209. There we have spoken with "Abby, " "Casey, " and "Venus." While trying to get help we have been put on hold, transferred, and finally disconnect MANY MANY times. No matter who we spoke to we always gave her our HOME (land line) phone number and begged her to call us back just in case we were disconnected. No one ever has. We have also sent many e-mails to the "help" address on the Virgin web site and have included our land line phone number. We have not gotten any response.

In our last attempt "Venus" transferred us to Tech Support at 1-888-211-4727 (option #4) where a person said that her supervisor confirmed that the Virgin number of 1-888-322-1122 disconnect her 3 times before giving her the Sprint number of 1-800-569-0209. However, they said that they could do nothing to help us.
