Two month ago I bought a Samsung M320 on a Virgin pay as you. Last Friday (May 7th 2010) this phone slipped out of its case and fell a total of two feet onto a gravel surface. When I found it one hour later it was not working. This it the first Samsung I have ever had and I can tell you it will be the last. I always used Nokia phones before without a problem and on the Rogers network. I contacted Virgins customer service line and explained what had happened, they told me it would have to go to the manufactuer. I told them that was not good enough, that I work as a general contractor and my cell phone is on site with me every day. As I said I had been with Rogers for years and used Nokia phones without any problems.
To make matters worse I had a ten dollar credit with Virgin that I asked be put on my wifes phone that was bought at the same time. After waiting almost a week I was told that they could not put it on her phone becouse they were in diffrent names. bought at the same time on same debit card registered at same address, but they can not put the money(my money) on her phone. The only way I can get the money back is to buy another of their fragile phone and activate it. I will never go back toVirgin and went to a Rogers store to show them my old Rogers Nokia and my new Samsung. The manager told me that should not be enough to kill the phone, but if I come back to Rogers he would give me 40 dollars off a new phone and a 40 dollar pay as you go card. Yes he did put in writing and gave me his business card. Now that is customer service, not like the way I was treated by Virgin mobile.
