I used Virgin for a wireless home phone and broadband combined and paid $60 per month. For the first two months I had no service at all. I tried calling the customer service line but had to wait for long periods before finally getting no answer. I couldnt ring from work as that would tie up the line and couldnt ring from home as the home phone didnt work. After over two months I finally reached customer service but both the home phone and the broadband were useless.
I was leaving the country in April so gave plenty of notice of the date to cut off the service. They said that I should ring closer to the date!! I tried to explain that I would be packing up my house and organising my move overseas but to no avail. The inevitable happened and I forgot to ring. They have charged me nearly $180 because of this and now want another $25.
My advice is never never use Virgin for anything
