We received a Vanilla visa gift card for a wedding gift. The expiration date is plainly marked and easily read on the front of card so i thought i was okay for a purchase at a local store. At that time i found out that fees had eaten up my original amt and it wasn t worth anywhere near the purchase price my friends had paid for it. The writing on the back is so small i had to buy a magnifying glass to read it and at some points the printing was punched in by the numbers from the front of card, was not readable with or without the magnifier. Not only that but... the fees had almost doubled from what was stated on card. I would love to be able to take a picture of card back and print it on this site, it is laughable at how small the print is. This has been one of the worst cases of blatant ripping off that i have seen. My card was also not accepted at several stores, even though a small balance remained on it.
