Vision Direct
This company had a promotion going that one would receive a $25 Restaurant.com gift card with an order. My order came and no gift card. I contacted them and they said they checked my account and to expect it in a week to ten days. I let that time go by and still no gift card. I have contacted them five times since then and they refuse to respond. They send some auto-reply email back and it states that I should reply to that message if their crap FAQ did not help, well it did not help and I did reply, yet they have been ignoring me. It is not even about the gift card anymore. It is their customer service that sucks! It used to be good but not anymore. You do not ignore your customers. You have had 4-5 days to respond to each message I send you before I send another. In the past I have had questions answered in 24 hours, even on the weekends and now nothing. This is ridiculous. I do plenty of business with you and have so for years.

Refusal to process order
I made an online purchase for some contact lenses through a company called Vision Direct. I originally found this company through Rewards Central. My credit card payment was confirmed for an amount of $141.75 and everything seemed fine.
The very next day, I received an email stating that their order system had flagged my purchase as a potential non-authorised transaction with my credit card. I checked with my credit card provider, and everything was in good order. Vision Direct required further documentation like a drivers licence and/or utility bill (electricity bill etc)or they would cancel the order.
I just stared at my screen in misbelief. Was it some kind of joke? I thought that at first being April fools Day. So then, I responded and said that my transaction is genuine, and I considered providing the information they seeked, was a threat to my personal privacy.
Anyway, the emails were being sent backwards and forwards, until I decided in the end to send what they want. Because I needed lenses urgently. I asked if an electricity bill will do. Just then I received a credit card refund notice, and another email from them saying "Yes. Please send us the document".
I replied "But my credit card has already been refunded. Now what?"
They responded with "Then we can send you payment request via PayPal."
Of course I refused, and decided to do business with someone else.
I have sent a complaint to Vision Direct and also Rewards Central. I've yet to receive a reply.
I'm disgruntled to the max, and still have no contact lenses.
