I received a call from this group acting on behalf of Cavalry Portfolio Svcs. Knowing that I had a debt to this company, I agreed to make arrangements for a future payment via direct withdraw from my bank checking account. I confirmed that future payment date twice with representatives of this company (CSR and Supervisor). The payment was processed 11 days early! and caused me to incur a $30 overdraft fee from my bank. I called the company directly and was told that no one was available to help me, and when I asked for more information about their offices, I was told by Veronica that she couldn't hear me and then she just hung up. This is not, in my opinion, a reputable company to work with. . .so beware. I still have not heard back from them, and I will put a stop-payment on their authorization to use my account. This will cause them more trouble than me at this point.

The Collections Agent was unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive. After AGREEING to a settlement agreement to be paid with Tax Return money, the collector began making personal comments about money and work situation. Since I was unable to set up the payments at that time (since the Tax Return was not yet filed) the collector proceeded to tell me that he was not in "Customer Service", hence apparently why he did not have appropriate and professional telephone skills.
