Although, they advertise 500 business cards for 9.99 and sometimes for free, you will end up having to pay shipping and handling costs
I was initally sucked in by their advertisements of 500 "premium" business cards for $9.99. I gave them a try, ordered 250 premium cards for my business, and received them 2 weeks later. Apparently, Vistaprint.com uses the term "premium" very loosely. Upon reciept I inspected them, and to my dismay but not to my surprise, I found myself somewhat disappointed in what I recieved. My business cards seemed more a novelty item than a premium one.

It appears that the saying "you get what you pay for", rings true in this case. In the future, I will stick with a local press.

A quick note: Although, they advertise 500 business cards for 9.99 and sometimes for FREE, you will end up having to pay shipping and handling costs. You will also have to pay to upgrade anything to what they consider premium standards. And by premium, I actually mean: Premium, to Vistaprint.com's standards. Which, in my opinion, isn't that high.

Automatic Billing issues
I purchases business cards and other printed materials form Vistaprint for years, But in 2009 I ordered business cards and they offered a hosted website account to match the business card on a trial. I did not notice that I the automatic billing option was checked by default. This last week I noticed charges on my credit card for 9.98 per month and did not know what this was for.

After investigating the account I had been charge over 20 months for a website I was not using. My complaint is that I did not receive any email confirmations of these monthly charges as I do for other services I subscribe to. I call accounting at visit print to work this out. They confirmed that no confirmations are being mailed monthly. The only way I could catch this was to log into my vistaprint account or check the details of a credit card statement.
This is not acceptable for any subscription automatic charges not confirm the charges monthly. So be aware whenever order anything from Vistaprint because they have designed the ordering process to add other STUFF to the account and will have these services defaulted checked.

I was refunded only 2 of the 20 months. This could have paid for a months worth of gas.

Credit card scam victim
I have been the victim of credit card scams through VistaPrint.com for several years. In doing research online, I’ve found thousands of other victims internationally and the consumers in this country need to be aware of this.
Though I have been a client since 2002 – placing almost 100 orders for multiple businesses on several different credit cards – I recently found a trail of fraud that has led back to years of bogus charges for phantom and nonexistent products, services and memberships all tracing back to VistaPrint and its affiliates. This is money stolen from, not only from my personal credit cards but also from multiple businesses, one of which includes a nonprofit animal shelter where every penny counts.
Unbeknownst to me, VistaPrint provided my credit card information to third parties who charged for things such as magazine subscriptions and fraudulent products, services, and membership rewards programs. The most infuriating part of this blatant theft is that VistaPrint claims I’ve ordered such things when I clearly haven’t.
A recent report done by a Harvard Law professor and lawyer, also explains that VistaPrint’s website is laden with spyware that pulls personal information from site visitors. I’ve made complaints and reported this to 35 state, local and federal consumer agencies and authorities to combat this fraud to recover my money and I have had no response. This is not only frustrating but very pathetic that the very agencies that are supposed to protect consumers are not protecting us or our businesses. There are thousands of other victims who still don’t know about these practices. I will keep fighting until I am fully reimbursed and the state and federal agencies investigate VistaPrint’s illegal activities.

Scam
Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT order anyhting from Vista Print online! They charge different amounts to your credit card (for their accounting conveniences, they charged the wrong amount first and changed the amount, cancelled the first one, so it looks like my card has been charged 3 times.) They don't even have a 800# listed on their website. They trick you with wordage by saying if you add this much shipping is free and still charge the shipping. OMG, what a waste of time and money. I can't believe this people stay in business.

Customer Service
Vistaprint has the worst customer service in the world! The phone number is just a run around of automated options with no human help at all. I had ordered business cards in March and its May and i still have yet to receive my order. I had to spend 1 hour on the phone calling different numbers to get a human to help me. I will NOT purchase anything from this company again and suggest that if you do, don't mess up because you will NOT get any help from the company

No customer support after order
I ordered a "Free" printed T-Shirt from VistaPrint with printing on front and back. After all the upgrades to the free offer I ended up paying $14.38 for the shirt. This was not the problem, I agreed to the $14.38 charge and paid though PayPal. I received the shirt, but the printing on the back was missing. I tried for about an hour to find any way of contacting the company only to be led in an unendless loop of links without ever finding a link to contact anyone or report the problem. They even have a "Satisfaction Guaranteed" which takes you back into the endless useless loop.

unauthorized charge
I received blank cards and blank stamps in the mail from Vista Print that I did not order and my checking account was charged $84.59. I have placed previous orders with Vista Print and used my debit card to pay but did not order this. I filed a fraud complaint with the Sheriffs Dept. Case #090401074 and Declaration of Unauthorized Use with my bank. Vista print will still not issue a refund because my address and 3 digit code on my debit card matches for the order. Of course it is going to match, I have used this card and address with them before. I have had to cancel my debit card so I do not receive other charges. I am very unhappy with how Vista Print has handled this and will no longer do business with them.

I will never use them again
Vistaprint.com the world's largest online business card company.

Great printer but aggressive, bordering on fraudulent marketers. As I was trying to checkout of an order, different dialogue boxes kept popping up with add's offers. I closed them all, but apparently, without my knowledge I signed up for another business (run by vistaprint) to get coupons. My credit card was charged $14.95 per month for 4 months before I noticed. I had to call two companies to get the membership stopped and had to also close my credit card account. Thanks, Vista Print! I will never use you again!

Beware of this company!
Vistaprint.com (Free Business Cards)

Beware of this company that advertises FREE business cards. If you click on certain links that entice you, you may end up with unauthorized charges on your credit card or automatic withdrawals from your checking account.

They automatically enroll you in something called VPrewards club. Charges can appear from a variety of names monthly.

After many successful transactions, I guess I finally clicked on a link, being curious as to what it was about. But I never knowingly joined anything and never authorized them to start charging my credit card for anything.

There are hundreds of complaints about them doing this from the UK to the US.

After they sent me a notice that they would be billing me for this charge, I went searching on the web about them and realized my only sensible recourse was to cancel that credit card so I wouldn't be douped. This may be the wisest solution since you can't know what name they are going to be using to bill you under.
