A customer told us the she spoke with Vita Mix, after purchasing the Vita Mix Vita Prep 3 / 1005 3 hp commercial blender. Vita Mix (the office that sells the Vita Mix 5200 blenders) said the the Vita Prep 3 hp blender and the Vita Mix 5200 blender are equally strong.
This information is incorrect. The Vita Mix Vita Prep 1005/3hp commercial blender is faster and has more torque. It can blend and emulsify strawberry nuts and raspberry seeds, etc, within 15 to 20 second. The 5200 Vita Mix blender requires for the same job about 40+ seconds.
The time of blending is best to be cut short to have as little air/foam introduced into the smoothie or soup. Oxidation is counter-acting phyto-nutrients. And oxidation is obviously the result of air / oxygen.
Why does the 5200 Vita Mix office mislead customers about one of their own products? It is because the 5200 model brings them over $ 200 in profit at $ 450 + sales tax (about $485 to $490). And the Vita Mix Vita Prep 3 brings Vita Mix about $ 50.00 in profit. This is because the 5200 is mostly sold consumer-factory direct while the other Vita Mix blenders are sold through 3 to 4 distribution levels before being delivered to the consumer.
In addition, the commercial division and the residential Vita Mix blender office are constantly fighting over their sales activities. Does Vita Mix corporation think that consumers are stupid? Do they really believe that the 3 hp blender is equally strong as their inferior 5200 model? Does Vita Mix expect us to believe this?
We tested the Vita Prep 3 hp blender against the Vita Mix 5200. See more info at http://www.3blenders.com
Did you know that the Vita Mix Commercial Vita Prep 1005/3 hp blender costs $ 495, just about 10$ to 5$ more than the Vita Mix 5200 blender?
Thanks for any comments.
