Just discovered I have also been caught by VIV3 Labs.
I took out a trail of Acai Berry at the end of May and put it in the cupboard while I went on holidays for 2 weeks and forgot all about it. Last week they took £77 out of my account and I was bouncing mad. I rang them and cancelled my subscription with a customer services advisor called Rocco. He was unable to give me their telephone number so I could speak to someone about taking the money from my account. He said I have to e-mail them to complain which I did.
They did respond quickly and sent an e-mail today 17/07/09 saying they had cancelled my account and "this implies that our company will make no more charges." I just checked my account and they have taken a further £36.00 which was request from the 14/07/09 and I have no idea what for. My bank says it is difficult to block requests for money when you have entered into a subscription even though I have cancelled the card that I originally used to pay with. If any more money is taken out they can now dispute it and give me my money back I hope. The customer service advisor at my Bank did say that if I receive the Acai Berry - I can send it back to them and they will usually give a refund. He seemed fairly certain of this.
Someone needs to do something about this company as this is not the way to do business. Their terms and conditions my be legal but the websites are deceptive because it is not clearly stated on the front of these sites for all to see. This is the first and last time I am going to buy something without checking out all of the terms and conditions. I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED.
