Over Billing, Poor Service
This concerns the services (never provided) I terminated with VividStream in December 2008.

They agreed to build a website for $850, 1/2 in advance, the rest upon completion. They then billed my card $425 three separate times over a few days in December.

I of course brought this to their attention and they promised to credit my card back with two of the charges. I agreed to that.

Over the next few weeks there were no credits to my card even after repeated assurances from them they would do so.

I finally informed them I was canceling the project because they had never refunded the charges, nor had they done any work.

They then agreed to refund all charges on my credit card ($1, 275) but failed to do so, after repeatedly assuring me they would. (The agreed upon price was $850)

Finally in mid January they suggested I file a dispute with my credit card company, which I did. They said they would honor the dispute.

After weeks of letter and form writing the credit company informed me they could not accept my dispute because the billing was done through PayPal, which I did not authorize. The card company suggested I contact PayPal, which I did.

PayPal informed me I was past the 45 day dispute period, which is their policy. They tell me there is nothing they can do.

So, back to VividStream. By this time it was mid April. Chris at VividStream assured me he would send a check to me for the full charge of $1, 275 but of course he never did.

My credit card company finally removed the charges from my card in May. I'm writing this comlaint because this has been one of the worst situations I have ever experienced from any company, anywhere.

Chared my credit card and gave me nothing
I ordered a website for my business on November 13, 2008. The day after, they charged my credit card for the entire cost of the site when they told me that they were only going to charge 1/2 until the website was finished. I tried to call and send e-mails regarding this and I was ignored. I called and left a message on November 16th stating that I wanted them to stop work on my website because I just didn't have a good feeling about the company. I also sent several e-mails to instructing the company to stop working on the website. When one of the owner's finally returned my e-mail after several weeks I was told that they already did my website and that I would have to pay for what was done. I asked many, many times to see the work that was done on my website so far and was put off day after day. I feel that if you want to charge someone for something that they did for you, you need to produce the results. It is now the end of March 2009 and I still have not seen one page of my supposed website.

I did challenge the charge on my credit card and was issued a refund but only after months correspondence back and forth with my credit card company. For retaliation, Vividstream had a credit agency call my business and threaten me that they would trash my credit if I didn't pay.

This company should be put out of business.
