Hi
I gave in my Soni Erricson K810i at Vodacare Menlyn for repairs, I think on 10 September 2009. The phone was still under warrantee. The camera made black spots witch you could only see when you looked at the photo's on the computer.
On the 22nd of Sep 2009, I went to collect the phone and restored my data to the phone in the vadocare shop. After that, I opened the camera lens just to find that the camera wouldn't go on stand by, witch it did before I gave it in. I didn't even leave the shop befor booking in the phone again.
In the beginning of October, I went to collect my phone again. They told me that the phone could not repaired because of liquid damage. I don't know of any time that the phone was exposed to any kind of liquid. I then spoke to Aaron, who said that he will ask a technician to open the phone quikly to see for fimself if there was liquid damage, and if there was, He would come and show it to me. So I waited there for a while. He came to me, said nothing about the liquid damage, and told me that he spoke to one of his superiors, who told him to keep the phone until they found the problem.
On the 19th of October 09, I called to see if they have fixed the phone yet. I wanted to speak to Aaron, but were told that he was busy and that he would call me back. After a few hours, I called again and spoke to Aaron. He told me that he said to me that day in the biginning of October that he would get a second opinion about the liquid damage, wich is untrue as I mentione earlier. He also told me that he would find out about the phone and then call me back within an hour. He never phoned me back!
Two days later, which is today, I called him again. He told me that there was liquid damage. I told him that I would like to speak to Tobie Bason, who is his manager. Unfortunately he was not there, but Aaron told me again that Tobie would call me. Almost two hours later, I still waiting for the call.
I don't understand. How could they fix the phone the first time and the second time, when I booked the phone again, without event taking the phone out of the shop, they tell me that there's water damage. So that means that the liquid damage must have taken place while the phone was with them!
What can I do?
