This is the worst service I have ever received in my life and this is pathetic
I applied for an account with Vodacom direct last week. They called me on Thursday and congratulated me and said it has been approved. I will receive my phone no later that Tuesday. But there was a problem the phone had a pay in amount of R5000 so I asked the to change it to the Blackberry curve Red. The guy advised me that he has stock and again he said no later that Tuesday I will receive my phone.

I called Tuesday and the said they do not have the phone in stock. So I spoke to Gezelle as she changed to blackberry curve Black and she said they definitely have stock and I will receive my phone in this week. It won’t take longer than 2 days. Yesterday was the second day. I called now and yet again they told me they do not have any stock. What are these people doing? Do they know how to check for stock? I am very Irate as I have been promised twice I am getting my phone this week and guess what, still no phone

This is the worst service I have ever received in my life and this is pathetic. Please can some one tell me what is going on and do they give their people proper training?

Terrible Delivery & rejected call after 30 minutes
I am terrible disappointed at Vodacom Direct, i have placed an order for a 3g contract and after being promised 3-5 working days delivery time, its now 3 weeks and there has been no follow up or proper feedback as to the delay, I have called countless times with no answer from the delivery department and wait 30 minutes at a time only to be cut off, I am terribly upset about this as I am a business person and this effects my business continuity and my income extensively as I need to reply to clients e-mails and requests.

Please improve on your communication to customers
I desperately needed a new phone - mine was stolen and my old 'back-up' one packing up. I gave my name up at Tygervalley's Vodacomshop for the new Samsung Star because they had no stock. A week or two later I phoned them - they never put my name down on the growing waiting list. The person said they will phone around and see if they have stock anywhere else and phone me back. Never happened. I then went to another vodacom shop and enquired about the phone. I waited and were promised twice that 'this' week it will come - two weeks later still nothing. So my husband applied online at Vodacom direct. at this stage we were informed there was no stock in the country of this phone (but the ads continued for this phone although they can't provide it). My husband enquired later about delivery to be told they will get back to him. My husband emailed again - no reply (to this day). So almost two months later I received my phone - delivered without warning that we needed copy of ID, proof of residence and my husband had to sign - he was at work. So much drama and at last I have it - please improve on your communication to customers - keep them informed and reply to emails.

Breach of Contract
In May 2009 The Rewards Company called me with an offer of a 'free' cellphone if I take out a Topup49 contract for 24 months. The Topup49 contract was at the time on promotion for R20 only instead of R49 so I agreed to it. Since June 2009 I have been billed R49 every month, resulting in my dedicated debit account being stripped of funds due to overcharging. When my debit order bounced one month Vodacom charge me R83 for the bounce and the bank also charged me. When I called The Rewards Company in Durban in July 2009 I was called a liar by Pratish Vanmari (supervisor) on 25-06-09 around 14:50 on 0315333427 who said there is no R20 Topup. He said he listened to the original recording clip which I am still waiting to receive per email. I have called montly at first and now I call weekly with no call backs and no solution to the problem. The last time something positive happened was 01 Sept 09 when VODACOM6 sent me an SMS apologising for wrongly charging me. They credited my account with R29 and that was it. A while after that when I called again it was confirmed that I am suppose to receive R29 for each month which I was overchanged. But nothing! I have stopped paying now completely resulting in my line being blocked and I will probably be listed by Vodacom for their incompetence and lack of care. My problem was even taken up with Lynne Cannings and Bonita Parish via email, but they proofed to be as incompetent as the rest of Vodacom with no feedback.
