The Elite Mobile official called in September, offering me a top up Nokia 2630. After I enquired with my son I found out that it is not the phone he wanted. I contacted Elite Mobile to come and collect the handset and that was immediately after Heritage Day holiday. I though maybe I could send it back through post office or courier but I was advised not to, they will pick it up. Their guy came to collect the phone on 02 October 2009. The pick-up no. is PU00113318. He checked everything, IMEI, serial no., SIM card etc were all intact. When I called the agent that day, I was promised I wasn't going to be charged a thing, but now I've received invoices and money (R262.97)has also been deducted from my bank account.
The account no. given is QV467028-6
This is such an inconvenience because I was embarrased when I did my shopping at the local Pick 'n Pay. Knowing that I had at least R300+ in my account, I bought stuff and when I paid, the card was rejected due to insufficient funds.
What surprises me is they are aware that I'm not using the phone but they still charge me. There's also something fishy with the guys calling for a pickup no., they only call after hours and staff like that ar e left in the office. I tell them to call during office hours but that does not happen, they wait for me to knock-off, what's up with that?
