wrongful deduction on my account
i am not a vodacom customer but money was deducted from my bank account. i launched a complaint with them on the 7 may 11. all my details were given to them including my bank statement reflecting the deduction made by vodacom for the amount of r899.00. they were to get back to me on monday or latest tuesday (10 may 11) to have this resolved. to date i have not been contacted. this has offset my account. so long as vodacom has our money they care less of the inconvience one has to go through to get back their money.

Illegal Rica of cell
On 10/05/2011 I received an SMS that my cell number has been Rica'd. I did some investigations and found that indeed, my number has been Rica'd with my ID number.
I want to know:
Who did it? Customer care was unable to assist.
Who gave them permission?
Where did they get my ID number and other details?
I view this as identity fraud and want an explanation before I take it further

Data bundle allocation
I contacted Vodacom on 14 April regards my data bundle showing that it needs to be topped up half way through what I was allocated. My allocation is 300mb. The gentleman I spoke to he could see it and could not explain it either and said to look into it and get back to me. He did call, but I was unable to take the call which had him leave a voice message in which he said he will call back later. Never did. I left it at that. On Sunday 8 May at 173mb I got another reminder that my data bundle was almost depleted and I needed to recharge. Very disgruntled, I called up Vodacom and gave them a piece of my mind to which the man I spoke to said my call will be prioritised and though he could not gaurantee it being responded to later that day, it will be addressed by Monday 9 May 2011. It is Tuesday 10 May at 15:00 and I have yet to hear a thing from them. I obviously had to top up to be able to vent here... A bottomless pit of money they are. Useless!!!

data bundles
I have been using vodacom 3G since late 2008. Buying airtime and converting it too data bundles for use. On the 2nd of May 2011 I did the same thing and bought R390 worth of airtime and converted it. I usually use the 2.3 GB that I receive for about 1.5 to 2 months. This time however on the 7th of May I am suddenly told I cannot access internet because my data bundle is finished. This is in a record 5 days. I phoned vodacom to ask why and was eventually told that my airtime had not been converted to data bundles so for the five days I was being charged at an amazing R2 per MB. The call centre guy went further to say that I should have also checked that the money has been deducted for the data bundles. I have always converted using the same way and suddenly its not sufficient and there is another trick in the book for vodacom to rip me off. I laid a complaint but as I stand I am not able to access internet so am behind as I use it for business. I want vodacom to reimburse me my data bundles as it was their system error that caused the problem in the first place. It told me money had been deducted from my account whilst it was not. The cell number in question is 0797399461 and the call centre guys' name was Letsego.

UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE
On the 1st of December 2010 I have upgraded to an Iphone 4 package. Advised by the Vodacom Potchefstroom dealership at Mooi River Mall. I really wanted the package because business wise the 250 meg data bundle would help me alot. a Month later my account was higher than normal so I realized that I didn't receive the free megabytes. In the last few months I REALLY tried to have the problem fixed. After hours and hours of trying to have the problem fixed between the customer care department, the upgrade and accounts departments, the dealership in Potch my account was finally fixed. Because I wanted the problem to be fixed my account is now suspended and blacklisted because of non payments. Now my problem is this

1) Please listen to the hours of recordings about the problem and each concultants advise and service of where I am in the situation with my phone now

2) Why did the dealership admitted to the mistake where the package was put on a Talk 500 instead of an Iphone 4 package

3) Why was there not clear communication to me about my problem

4)The damages caused by the mistake from Vodacom must be captured in a value

5) The way service has been delivered to me is unacceptable Again listen to all the recordings. Why did this problems been adressed take months to resolve at the end still with no clear indication on where I am currently

LASTLY I WANT TO ADRESS THIS VERY CLEAR THAT MY BUSINESS INVOLVEMENT IS HELPING THE RURAL COMMUNITIES OF SOUTH AFRICA BY CREATING JOBS AND FEEDING THEM THROUGH A BUCKET SYSTEM VODACOM DO HAVE INVOLVEMENT IN THESE PROJECTS AS WELL MY QUESTION IS : WILL VODACOM HELP THE RURAL COMMUNITIES THE SAME WAY THAN THEY HELP ME ? IF THAT IS THE CASE MY POLITAL INVOLVEMENTS FROM LOCAL TO NATIONAL GOVERMENT MUST BE CONTACTED AND ADRESSED THAT VODACOM IS NOT ON THE SUPPORT LEVEL ENOUGH TO BE INVOLVED IN HELPING THE RURAL PEOPLE OF SOUTH AFRICA THROUGH THEIR SERVICE AND I WILL NOT LET THEM STRUGGLE THE WAY I HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING

Vodocom is useless when it comes to customer service
I have been a Vodacom pre paid customer for over 5 years and was contacted by one of their sales consultant to offer me a "value added service" where I would be debited R45.00 a month from my bank account and get R75.00 airtime a month. with 23 free sms. I told her that I was unsure of my bank =ing details as the numbers at the back of my card had faded away with time. She said I should give her what I think the numbers are and did not make me aware firstly that I was now entering onto a contract and not a ore paid servie as she termed it and secondly that should the debit order be rejested by the bank I would be made laible to pay R85.00 for the rejected debit. I have since paid vodacom the rejecrted debit fee twice and voiced out mu disatisfaction. I advised that I wold like to cancell this service and was given the after sales contact number early April. I called yhe after sales call center ( a charged call where I was placed on hold for over 30 min to talk to a consultant). I explained the situation to a gentleman at the after sales call center who advised that the matter will be resolved and theat Vodacom will revert back to me with in 24hours . I was never contacted by anyone from vodacom and just assumed that they had cancelled the service as requested. On 1 May when I checked my airtime balance I realised that Vodacom had now recharged me yet agin with R75.00 and did not cancell the contract. I contacted vodacom call center where I was told that no cancellation had been loged and that I had to contact vodacoms cancekllatoions call center. When I called the Vodacoms cancellation call center I was told that they can notcancell the "contract " and that I had to contact the after sales call center. I have been trying to get hold of the afrter sales call center for the last 2 days with no luck(0821945 and 082241003). They have been placing my call on hold (voice recording ) and after an hour of holding the hang up the call. they also offer a call back service ( apperently a consultant is suppose to call you with in 1 hour) which I have used but have not been yet been contact by anyone to date from Vodacom. I am tiredof being given the run arround. Does any one know of a complaints boaurd or something that I can log my complaint with ? I just want my cell phone number to be returned to its original pre paid state where I bought my own airtime and had no worries.

Unauthorized activities from my Bank account - Poor Service
I have never received a pathetic service i've received from a company that claims to be the SA leading network company before. I have noticed authorized debits orders that went off my account on the 18/03/2011 and on the 30/03/2011, when i enquire with the bank (FNB) they told me it was Vodacom. I have to call them and find out what was that for.

I called Vodacom so many times, maybe a day i used to call more than 4 times not they keep on putting me through from one department to another. No body is useful to resolve my query. After a very long time, Vodacom told me that they debited my account wrongly because there was an Indian guy who took a contract phone with Elite Mobile, and he gave them a wrong account number. Because I could get any help via the Vodacom contact centre because I used to call - provide them with the reference number they've given me but most of the agents used to tell me that the reference number does not exist, and when I gave them my cellphone number, they tell me that no complaint was logged and they cannot help me without the correct ref number, i decided to send an email to the customer care. and my complaint was escallated to accounts department. I have been communicating with a lady by the name of Zanele Ngwevela. Zanele send me an email on the 12/04/2010 saying I will receive my refund within 12 working days, even today i haven't received anything. when trying to send follow-up emails she is not replying.

I have sent a lot of follow-up emails since this complaint has been logged. I have logged the complaint on the 29/03/2011 but even today it has never been resolved.

The reference number they gave me was S2-D5P3Q-Q5EOU

support
Bad service? Yess very bad, better to say there is no serice from both companies. Try to call to either 1 of these providers. Providers of what? They provide headache and loss of yourenergy and vauable time. I tired to log complaints to both companies by support lines. Believe me I don't have the time to wait 45 minutes. I visited once a call centre of Vodacom in Midrand, you will never find a places like this with so many arrogant assistents. For sure you can speak Zulu, Xosha, Venda, Shangaa, Sotho and English with a very african accent. But never try to speak Afrikaans its like speaking from a alien planet, but I remember that about 15 or 18 years ago everybody spook that language. If these workers can forget a learned language that easy, better get another job, because I see the most clients visiting that department are Afrikaans speaking. NO to SOuth Africa with any kind of friendly service in any shop or assistantence from a goverment deprartment, they not able to have any manners and no knowledge of why tghey there. Yes for sure speedcops can be friendly when trying to get a bribe out of you a sort of pay and you free to go. Welcome to that country of the ANC wich stands for always newer corruption. I forgot to tell that my other phone is at Virgin Mobile, waiting periods of there support is the same and they never call you back when promished.
