I have now 4 contracts with Vodacom. I have ported from MTN to Vodacom and entered into this new contract o 3o July 2010. Within the first 7 days I had to take back my Samsung phone because it did not work properly- phone freezes and hangs - had to take out the battery to get it rebooted.
After the 3rd phone was handed in twice for "repairs" the phone is still not working properly. I am being sent to various departments, then the shop, then the customer care, then the head office, then its Vodacom's problem, then it Samsung's problem and then its Vodacare's problem and I still do not have any satisfaction with this phone.
I was even told that the Vodacom sim 64k is incompatible with the Samsung phone and they recommend that I downgrade to a 32k Sim.
PLEASE! WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THIS PROBLEM SOLVED? When I call in, I am put on hold and they will come back to me, but I do not get anybody who actually can help me. i am just told to bring in the phone again so that they can book it in for repairs.
Please note I have been struggling with this problem now since end of July. It is nearly end of October 2010.
I need your help.
Thank you.
