How does it feel when you make the payment of your bill 10 days ago , suddenly all the calls get barred on your cell phone. However since you have been using the same number since more than 4 years you call up the customer relations team to get it fixed and after they assure you that the issue will be rectified in 2 hours the commitment is not met in even 3 1/2 hours... '' This is what you call WELCOME TO VODAFONE''. Well a big mistake that the vodafone has done by taking over hutch india .
The first call to the company was made at around 1400 hours on the 15th November'07 and spoke to a Agent named Ms Gurpreet who assured that it is an error and I will be able to make outgoing calls in 2 hours time. Later during that day when I call call the company at 1730 hours and speak to a agent named Ms Leena, she again tries to comfort stating that the technical department of the company is facing a problem and it will be rectified soon , I insisted to speak to a Team Leader on the floor. I clearly stated to transfer the call to a team leader only . The next person whom I speak to from the floor is some one named Ms Barkha Dutt... who started of the conversation stating that she is a floor incharge .. Hence the first question that was put forward to her from my end was '' Am I speaking to a Team leader''. Well I think the question was very clear and the reply that I recieved from the person was ''yes''.
While having a word with the agent she assured me that the issue will be rectified in 30 minutes , hence I insisted that I would like to hold the line while this issue is sorted because the entire day I spent looking for numbers on my cell phone and making the call from a landline phone. '' WOW WHAT A NETWORK''
Later the agent who pretended to be a team leader assured that the issue will be rectified in 30 minutes, informed that it may take 4 to 6 hours for the issue to be resolved. When I insisted to speak to a manger to get his assurity on this issue she informed that the manager is not available '' A USUAL STUFF THAT HAPPENS IN ALL THE COMPANY'' well then she said that she will transfer the call to a Team Leader... At that time when I cross questioned her because I already had put forward this question to her during my conversation and the lady had actually confirmed that she is a Team Leader whereas she wasn't '' Now this is too much '' . The agent said that she did not say that she is a team leader ... '' WELL THE ONLY THING THAT I AS A CUSTOMER WOULD LIKE TO SAY IS THAT ALL THE CALL ARE RECORDED BY THE COMPANY''.... Well after I felt that I need to speak to a Team leader the call was just disconnected..... So the bottom line is that I don't know how much time I need to wait to be able to make outgoing calls from my cell even after making the payment.....
SO THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THE COMPANY GIVES YOU A COMPLETE FAKE PROMISES AND DON'T ABIDE WITH ANY COMMITMENTS...
