hi everyone if u r using vodafone . don't activate gprs in mobile for 24hr . as i am facing the problem for making it on for 24 + 30 days . i am having post paid connection and had added package of 99rs for mobile internet in vodafone. i am also having prepaid connection of Tata Docomo. In both sim, i had internet . i ma having HTC Wildfire mobile in which i use to switch these numbers . but for past one month i had put my vodafone number in that mobile . and for that i had been charged 1lakh and 45 thousand. i am not able to understand wat facility i am using in my mobile . And in my tata number i am having internet pack of 95 rs for 4GB per month and in that i had used only 1gb in one month ... So is vodafone is provding some other data with there gprs. ? or they charged according to time i had on the mobile connection.. ?

cheating
I was a happy Idea subscriber. Until one day i saw an ad of vodafone outside dadar stn. It said on a first RC of 69 our subscriber will get 1p/s, 10p v2v local, 25p v2v mah & goa, 2gb data usage etc. I believed them & ported my no. from idea 2 vodafone. Went immediately to vodafone sion gallery & did a first recharge of 69 on a new sim card vide transaction id MU1250920202. Neither did i get the scheme nor did i get any talktime. They just cheated me & all my money was gone. This is how vodafone people are happy to help themselves with peoples money. I wonder how they can start schemes on their own without written permission from the subscriber. Now i am waiting for 90 days to get over to get out of vodafone. Is TRAI, DOT listening? Within a few hrs of porting i regret my decision. My cell no. is 81081 76453. I wonder what is the logic of TRAI to make people wait for 90 days to get rid of such cheating service providers? Their voice breaks when i am at the desk & have to go to the window to talk & listen. Whereas with idea the voice clarity was as good as a landline. Can anyone help?

restrictive usages of mobile phone
I purchased mobile phone with sim card from dealer of vodafone.My number is 9769990151.Although their service is good but not economical.Hence I transferred to DOCOMO. I was surprised to know that mobile set can only be used for vodafone and other services are not allowed, as they have fitted security lock.To unlock security code, I went to vodafone gallery at Thakur Village.They declined my request to unlock code.This is just amounts to restrictive trade practice.I am 71yrs old retired person and cannot afford to buy another cell phone

After an astonishingly rude call from a telesales guy from vodafone who said 'what are you going to do about it?' and then hung up on me when I asked for his name, I called them back, got rerouted & told I needed to ring the number I had just rung in order to complain. When I explained that I had just rang that number and what else could I do he repeated the same thing. DON'T GO WITH VODAFONE

Won't unlock my Iphone
Nine months ago I purchased a subsidised Iphone 4 from Vodafone on an 18 month contract. I have no problems with the contract, pay my bill every month and intend to continue my contract. I am going on hoiliday shortly and want to use my Iphone abroad as it has all my diaries, apps etc. on it but I don't want to use my Irish number or pay Vodafone's high charges. I can buy a sim in any country and avail of local calls and rates far cheaper than Vodafone. On my returnm I will revert back to my Irish number.
But Vodafone will not give me the necessary code to unlock my phone. They cite I am still under contract for nine more months and until then I can't unlock my phone. Is there anything I can do to get my phone unlocked by them? (I don't want to jailbreak the Iphone).

number port out request pending since 4 months 4
Had submitted port out request, not resolved since last 4 months .again and again calling up their call centre also visited the vodafone gallery still the reqiest is pending .

Complaints Regarding Balance Deduction
My colleague's mobile number is 9765112133. His name is Ramesh Paturdekar. He is dumb and deaf, he uses mobile only for SMS and GPRS. During last one week amount is deducting from his account. I have contacted customer care executive nearabout 4-5 times and asked them to deactive all the services except SMS and GPRS. Each time the customer care executive assured that all the services has been deactivated. Still the amount is deducting. Today when I am trying to contact Customer Care Executive after pressing 9 he is again starting with "Balance k liye ye dabaye uske liye wo dabaye". When I contacted number given on Vodafone website, it is saying the number is switched off, the number of not reachable. etc. etc. Today I went to customer care store and asked to check the problem. (I found there nearabout 10 people who are facing the same problem. He again deactivated some services. And assured all the services are deactivated. But still today at 3:38 PM an SMS is received on his mobile.

I made up my mind to ask him to change from Vodafone to other service provider. But since he recharged with Rs. 95/- for month for 2 GB GPRS. I am waiting for the month to complete. But though Rs. 95/- has been already paid there should be balance in the account to use GPRS (How strange). And though he is facing so many problems there is a charge to talk with Customer Care Executive.

Vodafone USB Internet Service
I purchased a vodafone usb, at that time they promised to provide the max speed of 3.2 mbps & min of 80 kbps but its not even providing more than 3 kbps. I can't even open a web page and when i talked about this with customer care then they said we can't do anythiung with the speed, you shopuld purchase 3G service, and they even agree that they cheated us.
Now this usb is useless as it tooks atleast 5 mins to open a single web page.
I am here to inform others to not togo with Vodafone and also to either refund my money or provide me the good speed.
I also wrote the email to the customer care. (REF:175331919902).
