prepaid talk value
I HAD BOUGHT A PRE-PAID VOUCHER FOR RS 299/- ON JANUARY'08 FOR REDUCING THE CALL RATE CHARGES. IT WAS REJECTED AS THE VALIDITY HAD EXPIRED.
THEN I FILLED UP THE FORMS FOR CREDITING THE AMOUNT AS TALK VALUE TO MY EXISTING ACCOUNT(9830355458).
TILL DATE (24/04/2008) THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM VODAFONE -KOLKATA OFFICE.
PLZ HELP ME.

fraud?
I was approached by Global Direct person who took Rs 600 for changing my prepaid vodafone connection to advanced prepaid. After that when i inquired with customer care in vodafone they did not recognise the company. but the reciept and icard of the person had vodafone logo. i have been calling the global direct office in lower parel office to cancel my connection but my refund has not come yet and the person who had come to give the connection does not attend calls on the contact number he has given me.. i request the vodafone company to look into the matter not just because a company is taking money on their behalf but also regular vodafone customers like me are harassed

Wrong Actication and Charges Billed
Hello,

You all don’t even deserve a Hello….but I’m saying it out of courtesy.

Your catch line says HAPPY TO HELP. But let me tell you what, helping a customer is the last thing that Vodafone agents will ever do they don’t even talk properly to the customers.

Vodafone agents are the rudest I have come across in a long time with my association with most of the cellular providers. The case is for today when I called in your customer care number for help regarding the GPRS services.

First of all before activating the service I was clearly informed that there will be two plans one is for 49/mth and other one with no rental and I opted for the no rental plan, the services got activated in the evening and as I called in for certain queries I was informed that I have been billed for GPRS, which shudnt have been the case on the other hand the agent zoheb or shoaib it wasn’t very clear what his name was but he was rude upto the core, when I told him I wanted to speak to a supervisor he told me “we don’t have one right now” if that is the case that you all don’t have an supervisor in the night then whom do the agents refer to if they have any queries or a problem they wouldn’t be able to handle on a call.

Vodafone is offering the most pathetic service and the most unprofessional and untrained agents ever, Vodafone can feel free to contact me if they want some help regarding training their agents on telephone etiquettes and to learn as in how to do proper customer service.

I have two post paid numbers with Vodafone and when I said it to the agent that would like to cancel the numbers he says yes you can surely do that and please call up in the morning to that.

I am forwarding an copy of this to all the people I know including the ones in Vodafone like Mr.Rajneesh Singh, Mrs.kamal bajwa and others.

I will make it a point that at least my circle gets rid of Vodafone.

prepaid to postpaid
I was having a vodaphone prepaid connection since 20th April 2007 onwards and was very much satisfied with the services.
I was approached by a representative of Global direct on 04.04.2008 for changing my prepaid vodaphone connection to postpaid connection.I paid Rs.300.00 in cash.She issued a cash receipt GDAR 9871 CAF NO: 13100775 SCHEME:P2P
Thereafter around half a dozen verification calls came to my mobile and land lineat my office.Then a person came on 17th april 2008 thursday morning and asked whether I got the sim card.
On the same day after 7 pm my sim got deactivated.No incoming and outgoing calls .Since I am not having any other connection at my residence I was put into much difficulties since I was not informed of the deactivation.

Next day I contacted Global direct and was informed that I will be provided with a new sim card by evening.Eventhough it was a holiday I waited upto 7 pm for getting the card.No card was delivered.

Next day(19.04.2008) again I contacted them I was assured that I will be given a new sim card by 5 pm.Being a saturday I was having a halfday duty in my office but to get the card I waited upto 7.30 pm to no results.

Next day was sunday and nobody in their office was answering my calls.

Today is monday 21st April 2008.Today morning also I contacted the office and Ms.Alpha informed that the card will be delivered today.I dont know whether I can trust them.

In this circumstances will you please inform me the reason for deactivating my sim for 5 days from 7 pm on 17th April to today the 20th April 2008

Who will compensate me form my mental agony for not contacting my family in kerala for all these days.

If this is the service they are offering in the starting then what will be the kind of service I am getting afterwards

I request you to kindly investigate and revert back

Non-activation of ACT ONE plan.
19th April 2008

Subject:- Non-activation of ACT ONE plan.

Reference to My Mobile No.9988849367. I am using this number last 9 months. 2 months ago I have recharged with Rs. 299/- and got lifetime validity. As on 25/4/2008 I have send a Sms for local call @ One Rupees. But scheme is not activated. Then I have re-send the Sms as on 5/4/2008 9.15 am. Then I call to customer care they told me we have not received any request from your side. Then I have re-send Sms as on 9/4/2008 7.26 am. But after doing all efforts the scheme is not activated. I made several calls to customer care as on 14/4/2008. I have talked with Miss Jatinder Kaur, Mr. Sunil & two another persons but have hold my calls for long time and could not do any thing and call was disconnected all times. After some time I have received a sms from your side “Hello your service registration is 973212820, we shall respond your query by 18th April 2008 6.00 pm” My problem is not solved yet. I am very upset and unhappy. Tell me one thing what mistake I have done to Purchase a connection from Vodafone Company. I am using another numbers from Spice and Airtel but I have no compliant from them. You are ordered to solve this problem and refund my all money deducted by your company above charged at local calls. Other wise i made your complaint to media as well as to your company’s directors.

I wise in the light to above you will solve this problem at the earliest. This number is at my residence if you want any clarification then you will call before 8.00 am and after 8.00 pm. If you have no problem then calls me on 98550-34442.

Billing
was using a number-9873928791. This was originally a TAP connection (a connection given to company employees that comes along with certain benefits) given by the previous company I was working for. However this number has no STD pack. Hence I opted for an STD pack and paid the required additional amount to Vodafone to get the STD benefit. When I left the company, the TAP connection with all the benefits were removed, but I was assured by the Vodafone rep in the company and by Vodafone shop at Anzal plaza in new delhi, that the STD pack would remain. However, I was shocked to receive a huge bill at the end of the month and called Vodafone care immediately. They told me that the STD pack has been removed. I asked them why and how come I was not informed about it, but as usual, the customer service person has no answer or any solution and kept on repeating that the STD pack has been deactivated and hence the huge bill. I asked to speak to the supervisor, and after holding for 30 minutes I end up speaking to a supervisor who sounded like a recorded machine. I am really pissed and feel so cheated.

Unable to Deactivate Astro Alerts
Hi,

I have mobile connection from Vodafone in India. It is used by my family usually who goes out carried with them mainly by my mother and my wife.

It seems they subscribed to Astro Alert which is costing 60 rs. per month for the month Feb 2008 onwards.

When I come to kow from March bill I called up their call centre and requested for de-activation of same.

As of today after making several calls and visits to telecom provider same is not deactivated. I tried all the options online while talking their call centre agent to deactivate but all is in vein.

Can u help in coming out of problem with such pathatic service provider?

Misinformed by sales rep!
Vodafone sales rep offered me a three month free trial to use a line and test it out since I was a mobinil loyal customer. He offered me the same number I had with mobinil. after the three month were finished I informed the vodafone customer care service that I want to cancel the line. To my astonishment she informed me that it was a one year contract and that I wasn't allowed to cancel it and that I will be charged a monthly fee. I told her that it was a trial . she informed me that the contract I signed stated that I went into agreement for a whole year.

What is funny is that you can't go beyond the inexperienced operator to report a complaint and they don't have a website which you can send a complaint to be reviewed by mangers. I guess they know they are in the wrong and don't want to hear about it.

Wrong Information for their sales
Hello,
I had a vodafone prepaid connection, people from vodafone customer care called up and told me that they have good offers in postpaid, they gave me a wrong bunch of offers and they even said we can migrate from postpaid to prepaid anytime i wanted. But when i called their customer care after getting the postpaid connection, they said there is no such offer, and that we cannoy migrate from postpaid to prepaid. Now that they have got themselves another postpaid customer to cheat they just are not interested to look into the matter. They easily say "Sir, Buy another connection " but it's not so easy for me. Please .. I need Help...
