Providing wrong details and duping money!
A fraud has been committed with me by the Vodafone cellular company by telling a wrong prepaid to postpaid conversion plan. A sum of Rs. 250 was asked as security which i had deposited with the Vodafone executive and collected the receipt. I canceled the application for this conversion after the verification call told me the correct plan. Now my money is not been refunded and I am asked to wait for month or go to Vodafone centers with the receipt to collect the refund. Moreover no help is provided by the customer care centers also. Vodafone also do not provide any intimation for changing the calls and message charges. They are duping lakhs of vodafone users by not giving them the intimation of changes in their sms rates which other mobile connections are doing.

Network busy!
I am using Vodafone (previously Hutch) service in Bangalore since last 6 months. The primary reason for going for Vodafone was the tariff plan. But after such hard time I think I made mistake for choosing Vodafone. Now a days i observed that dialing out during evening time (5pm-7pm) is very difficult, as I always get 'Network Busy'. But today it was height, i am trying to dial out since 6pm to 11pm. I was getting 'Network Busy' continuously. I couldn't dial single call out.

I am wondering how Vodafone will sustain its growth of its customer base in coming future? They really need to work hard on network issues, and infrastructure.

Pathetic customer care services!
I am highly disappointed by the customer care services provided by the vodafone prepaid . I have been writing them reminder mails at the [email protected] and nobody seems to listen. The word care is so ironic as there seems not an iota of care in the way company is treating its customer. I had approx Rs. 1200 worth of balance in my prepaid account when the validity of my recharge got expired.

The mobile set was not working at that time and hence the number was not in use. No attempt was made by the company to contact us even though the alternate contact no. was given at the time of taking this number. When i called up the customer care regarding my complaint, I was put on hold for a no. of times before I could be heard and could get my complaint registered. I came across some of the worst customer care executives who did not seem to understand a word of what I was saying. Finally I got a reference no.833225990 and was asked to mark a mail on the care @ vodafone.com ID. I got an automated reply and every time I mark a reminder, all I get is the automated reply.

My advice... STAY AWAY FROM VODAFONE.

help needed

this is not actualy a complaint but this is to briing to your notice me somnath pal is using prepaid connection of huthvodafone for last one and half year and am very much satisfied with your tower.since i went to bhubaneswar for my higher studies i got to take up bsnl connection here.since i belong to kolkata and all my friend circle nad family members have vodafone connection i am facing a bit problem getting touch with them bacause the power plan of bsnl doesnot work on vodafone.
so sir i will be very grateful to you if you launch vodafone in bhubanesar as soon as possible.and am pretty much sure that your vodaafone will get a market here too as in kolkata.I will be looking forward for ur help.

Number permanently disconnected
My Vodafone Cell No 9819159962 was permanently disabled , although they had a deposit of Rs 500/-, without any intimation through post or telephone that my number will be disabled.

When i went to a help desk, they promised to look into this and call me back, but I have not yet received an call from them.

Suddently stopped all service to my vodafone no.9946828265 ( kerala)
Without information doing like this I am suffering lot.
Please take necessary steps to connect again

wrong charges
helo i am currently using your vodafone prepaid card. i have also added the Re. 59 bonus card(which gives 30p/50p/Re1.00 for V2V, V2Others, & V2Local respectively) now for two days when i dial a local mobile phone i am charged for local landline & when i asked at 111 they gave some irrelavant answers

customer harassment
hello,
i am Blaise Miranda residing in mumbai city in INDIA. I have been harassed by the vodafone centres a lot. This was the problem i had to face. I had purchased a vodafone campus card around 2 months back submitting all the required documents. after that i got a message within a day saying that the documents submitted were incorrect. Without any delays I contacted the customer care who told me that my address was incorrect. So I went to the nearest vodafone centre to submit my documents again, but there i came to know that my address was right but the card was on some "Mahendra Chauhan's" name. The executive told me to re-submit the documents and my line would be activated and everything would be normal. Then I again got a message saying that "your line will be de-activated within 24 hrs if you do not submit the right documents". Again without any delays I contacted the customer care and again they told me that the documents had been rejected because the card was on some other person's name. Again they told me to re-submit my documents and told me that the line would be activated soon. Yet they did not start my line . I went again on 11-11-2007 to the vodafone centre with the same problem and she(executive) told me to submit 2 documents, incase anything would go wrong with one document, the other one would be standby. Then my line was activated but again on 18-11-2007 my line was de-activated without any notice or text message. I rang them up and they told me the same problem due to which I was really frustrated. Since I was out of town for 9 days I could'nt do anything. but when I returned the first thing I did was I rang up to the customer care and told them the problem and there was a new scenario here. This executive tells me that my line was not getting activated because my card was on "MAHENDRA'S" name and i had to get an NOC from him. He told me that it was my dealer's fault due to which i was really disappointed because after visiting the vodafone centre 2 times and submitting my documents 3 times, no one ever mentioned that i had to get a NOC from "MAHENDRA" due to this harassment i wanted to deactivate the "campus scheme" they(customer care) told me that it would be de-activated within 12 months. I wanted to discontinue it because of the harassment and because of my address on other person's name.
When i asked them to look into the matter again, they said they could'nt help me with it due to which i have changed my operator to another one and i am very happy with it.
The serial no. of my complaint which i had lodged on 11-11-2007 is "SR# 32238632" and the executive's name was "Sonia Dhir". I just want to ask a question, "is this what a person has to go through to be a vodafone customer ?"

Vodafone playing fraud with India
This company is a real fraud. In the last six months they have tried to cheat me of my money several times.

1. I had asked them to put my number in "Safe Custody" scheme for 3 months (because I had to leave for the US), whereby I was supposed to pay them 99 Rs rental for temporary suspension of my number for 3 months but retaining the number so that I can reactivate the number after 3 months. But Vodafone thought it to be a right opportunity to cheat me and they promptly resumed my services after I left the country and started billing me. I monitor my account over the internet on a regular basis, so I caught their fraud in 2 days and e-mailed them. But they did not respond to my e-mails anymore. Only auto acknowledgements were received. I am going to lodge a case against the company for playing fraud with me, and will use all my e-mails and their auto acknowledgements as my evidences. Even the nodal officer and apellate officer are not replying to the e-mails sent out to them.

2. In addition to the above, some time back they tried to harrass me by activating caller tunes without any request. When I enquired about this their nonsense executives told me that there is no way they can enable caller tunes without request. Then the real trick. Because of an unwanted caller tune, the customer sends out a deactivation SMS for which they are charged 15 Rupees. Many persons tend to ignore this amount becasue they do not monitor their bills much. Maybe only 20 % of people monitor this. Rest don't. That means Vodafone manages to dupe lakhs of people of 15 rupees every month. Imagine the illegal profit they make out of customers hard-earned money. Request all of you to lodge public interest litigations in this regard. These foreign companies should not be allowed to come to India and cheat Indian public this way. They cannot do anything like this in USA or Europe, becuase that would cost them millions of dollars as fine. They can afford to do such corruption in India because of government support in the corruption activities. Please, for god sake, do not spare these corporate cheaters. Let us show them what Indian Law can do to them.

prepaid topup recharge
maine aaj subah 7 baje via internet rs.300 ka topup refill recharge kiya lekin mujhe sirf 174 ka talk time hi mila jabki itna talk time toh rs.200 ke recharge me hi milta hain.
aur aapke customer care ke executive ne bataya ki yeh recharge sirf 30 days ke liye hi hai jabki mera 1 year ka recharge kiya tha jiska expiry date may 2008 hai.

vodafone ne yeh galat kam kiya hai.
