Irresponsible Customer Care
Vodafone Customer Care Agents are laying to customers. They are informing customers that they lodged the complaints with out lodging. They are making fools the customers. They even did not respond to the customers.

Sub: prepaid balance deduction
I am using Vodafone for the past one month on 2/5/2011, I have recharge my mobile number with 100 top up and for internet I have recharged this with 123 at the same time recharged massage was received on my mobile about the recharge and my recharge was successful but on 3/05/2011 I am having minus 20 balance on my mobile, I asked this about customer care, on first time one man told that you have used Vodafone mobile for using internet browsing but you have to use Vodafone live to asses internet, and on next time I called to customer care the next fellow told me that it is an mistake the money will be credited to you in 24 hours, after that he connected the phone line to internet assistant he told me some setting I have set to that, and after that I recharged my mobile with 100 but on 4/5/2011 my account balance was minus 4
Now only one thing I want to know Vodafone is only one company in India or
1) Vodafone live
2) Vodafone Live
3) Vodafone mobile
4) Vodafone India
In what setting I have to access internet by a single company even though I have recharge with 98, 123 buster pack for internet

I tried to switchover to Vodafone through MNP from Tata Indicom and went to Shyambazar Vodafone Store [+913325434758] on 2/4/11 and as guided by them, I sent necessary msg from my Tata phone. On 4/4/11, I filled up the form with all necessary documents from that Vodafone store and they issued me SIM card and told me that, within 7 days my Tata Indicom line would be deactivated and then I have to go for my suitable plan with Vodafone. As it was not disconnected, 1st I went to Tata Indicom Store and was informed that, new service provider has to sent sms to them for deactivation. Then I went again on that store on 21/04/11 and when enquired about this, casually they told they have missed to take proper step from their end and that's why line was not deactivated. Then they told me that, now they would take the necessary step. I then enquired 3 times and they told me 3 different stories each time. While enquired with Vodafone Customer Care, they informed me that system showing pending. After that when enquired again with that store, they simply told to start it again from the begining. These people are so casual and even did not get shame to telling such things to their customers and moreover, they forgot what stories they said earlier to the same customer. And their slogan is "Happy to help" !!!

pathetic customer service
hiiii...my name is Taufiq ahmad, mob. no. is +919999964282 yesterday 18th of apr i got a msg regarding vodafone superweek, i activated it or while following all turms and conditions i used this service that was absolutely free, even after when i checked my account i saw my bal was in (-), i dailled 198 to complaint it was around 4:00pm 1st ms. kavita picked up the cal i share all that and and she was aggree then that my bal was diducted wrongly, she commited to me refund my bal and said she had frward a request and gv me a request no. but i did not get any cnfrmation sms and i called up agn to 198 and this time a guy picked the cal i agn share all that and he put me on hold, i had been holding since around 15 mnts and then my call was discncted without gv me any info, i called up agn on same no. this time mr. rajiv picked my cal i agn shared all and gv that request no. that i got frm ms kavita and then he gv me info that there was no request for my no. then i came to know that it was a fake request no. i asked him to take my complaint but he didnt take any complaint regarding that and i asked to transfer my call to his senior he put me on hold and came back and said all senior were in a meeting said there was no senior available on the floor...i asked imphased on him to transfer my call to senior agn and then he put me on hold and did not come back i waited for 30 mnts but due to no respons i disconnected my call myslf. and in all this conversation the language, and tone of this guy was really pathetic, was irriatating...
and now i'm very disapointed with vodafone customer srvice... and i'm gonna chnge my service provider..

I'm a Vodafone prepay customer and I registered for Vodafone 360 last summer which has a 100mb download limit.
A few days ago after topping up by €20, I downloaded 67mb and I suddenly had no credit left. They had overcharged me.
I rang up and (after 15 minutes wait) they had the nerve to tell me that I had never been registered with Vodafone 360 and that they had been charging me 99 cent for the past few months.
I don't count my pennies so I wasn't aware that they were overcharging me. When I registered last summer I checked over the next month or two to see if I was being charged the correct 12 cent rate and I was. So I never thought to check again. I didn't realise Vodafone were fraudulent. Somehow I got removed from the Vodafone 360 plan and they say they have no records of me ever being on it which is absolutely ridiculous and a complete joke.
I spoke to several people in the call centre including the manager (I rang several times just incase it was the incompetence of the person on the phone) and they all told me the same thing. Their system only records charges for the past 3 months so they cannot see the same 12 cent that I saw coming out of my credit for the few months after I registered. They also told me their system records any changes to accounts on their system and that if I had registered for VF360 that they would be able to see that change.
TBH the vodafone website is the most poorly developed website I have ever come across and I'm an experienced web developer so I know what I'm talking about. I gave up on trying to top-up via their website over a year ago because it worked every 1 out of 20 tries. Right now, they have so many links on the website don't even work. You also get these error pages frequently while just browsing through the site. Their system is barely hanging together and they are trying to tell me that they are 100% positive that their system would record it if I was put on VF360. Well... I WAS on VF360 and NO your system DID NOT record it!!! Even when I registered for VF360, the shop told me to register online, but that didn't work, it just gave errors so I had to ring up and get a guy to do it. The guy actually told me that I was supposed to ring up so I'm not sure why the shop and website were telling me to register for VF360 online.
VF have been overcharging me for the past few months, recently stole 20 euro from me, removed me from VF360 without notifying me, tell me that I've never been on VF360 because their system says so, refuse to reimburse me and have the nerve to claim that their system is 100% correct when it's blatantly obvious that it's a load of rubbish.
I hope this gives potential customers a view of what they are really like.

Dear sir,
I am a subscriber of vodafone prepaid mobile no.9711921481 for NCR circle since 2008, I have lost my mobile on 13/2/2011 in Agra, I informed in area police station and recieved a copy of said FIR, I visited Vodafone centre sector-18 noida on dated 16/2/2011 to attain duplicate SIM, I had FIR copy, pan card copy, ration card copy SBI securities statement, Company ID card, they have not entertain me to provide duplicate SIM, they refused to accept all concerned document, although I am working in Technip company, which is preferred company in vodafone to provide special offer plans in postpaid in these days.
my home town is Agra, i could not arrange bank statement & other document to vodafone centre sector-18 noida, later I arranged bank statement and reached to vodofone center sector-18 noida on 07/3/2011 then they told me your FIR time which is 15 days has been expired to recieve a duplicate SIM, I argued with floor supervisor for harrasement, when i visited first time on dated 13/2/2011 they have not informed me to arrange required document within 15 days otherwise your FIR will unacceptable, now I am very much disappointed with bad behaviour, later on 09/03/2011 again I reached to another Vodafone centre in sector-12 noida for duplicate sim but there is no hope for me, I am really disappointed from Vodafone centre sector-18 employees, vodofone center sector-18 noida has untrained, unprofessional staff, there is untrained incapable girls employees, that kind of behave will not stop to go with portability anyway this kind of professional response is very cheap from company like vodafone, Is it legal to go again FIR which is already registered in police station, 2 times FIR required for same thing it is legally not possible,
Is there any hope from vodafone to call me for duplicate sim, still I could not get duplicate SIM

Callertune not activeted
I have set the caller tune. But it was not activeted. So i asked at customer care two times. Then also they didn't work for this. After that i deactivated it, and again after 1 days again try to activate it then also i got the confirmation message that callertune has been set but when i checked it it was not activated. Again I call at customer care they said it will take 24 hrs. Is this kind of service they provide? Really i was very upset with the callertune service of Vodafone.
