I purchase a split AC of 1 ton in May 2008. After the warranty was over some problem occured in July 2009 and a person came and get it repaired in July and August 2009. The total bill amounting to Rs. 2482/- including service tax of Rs. 232/-. Please note that proper bill was not provided to me inspite of repeated request made. They only provide me an estimate of bill and regularly conveying that this is the final bill. I made last complain on 17th August 2009 but failed to receive any reply from them. It seems that voltas is regularly cheating the customers and government for not depositing the service tax amount. Please further note that I had also asked for service tax number so that I can claim service tax credit but I fails to receive the same.
