I purchased a Voltas Mini Magic Water Dispenser on 04 April 2010, vide S. No. 6210098V09H00720. After few months, it stopped cooling water and I called up customer support team on 31 March 2011 (Before completing one year, withing warranty period), vide reference number: 11mr3102190.
Same day, an engineer from LAHAR ENTERPRISES visited me. He checked the product and told me that the dispenser will have to be taken to their service center. He promised me to take it within 1-2 days. It was on 31 March, I waited for 2-3 days, nobody came. I called LAHAR person, and he kept on postponing. Fed up, when I called up Customer Support again on 10th or 11th of April, he sent his engineer. Imagine, it took 12 days for your dealer/engineer to collect the product from my office.
Worse still to come.
On 11th, the visiting engineer told me to fix it within 2-3 days and return me. He did not. I waited for 4-5 days and called LAHAR (0172-5047736). He told me that it will take 1-2 days, I called again on 21 April that it is already 22 days, He promised me to deliver it on 22 April, Morning. I waited all day and today is 25 April, it is still not delivered. The guy has been highly UNPROFESSIONAL, with no sense of service or business. I have called up him 4-5 times, being your customer and he has never called me, not even once for the reason of delay.
Now, I DO NOT WANT THE PRODUCT BACK. If you have any policy for compensation on moral grounds, compensate me for the irritation, disappointment and wastage of my time. Really a bad service by Voltas. It does not and should not take 24 days to fix a faulty Water Dispenser, and it is still nto fixed.
