My son receives numerous calls (daily) on HIS cell phone from this company (and others who work for them - outsourcing) asking for me by my first name. He tells them that there is no one by that name at this number, and asks how they have the number. The caller claims to be "doing a follow up about an inquiry I made regarding my debt consolidation and that this is the phone number I gave them." What a scam. They probably got a list from 10 years ago when I bought my son the phone under my name - hasn't been since - plus he has a new cell provider under his name. This is fraud and someone should shut these people down for harassment - we're also on the "Do Not Call List". I guess that law doesn't apply to them. I feel sorry for the people who fell into their trap. My advice to you - get a good lawyer!!! P.S. Neither my son nor myself have ever had an open balance (except my mortgage, which is paid every month.)
