Misrepresentation
On the 1st of December i was called at my residence and told to call the number of (1-877-876-8943) of which they gave me the code # which was(XP279475197), regarding that I could receive a $50 Walmart card and a $200 rebate card. I called the nimber and I couldn't understand the rep so he switched me to another rep which was named Daniel, ID#(14746297). He explained that I could receive a $50 Walmart card which would be the same as cash, and a $200 retail rebate card that could be used at any retail store. I would only have to pay for the shipping and handling which was $7.80. He said if i was to use the retail card i would be reimbursed for the different amounts of my purchases that would equal up to the amount of the $200 retail card. He explained it was a promtion for a 7 day risk trial offer. What he failed to mention was that it was for 3 different trials. Initually i thought it was because i had been shopping online at walmart.com so i was excited i was actually receiving an offer that seemed ok because i was thinking why would they try to screw me over with all the ID# and the phone numbers I had obtained. He said as soon as they arrived in the mail that is when the trial would start not before then and i could immediately call to cancel the promotion. Because of me not being the cardholder my boyfriend got on the phone and they gave him a confirmation#(091201130110). The confirmation rep gave him three numbers. (1877-442-5774) and (1-877-472-3388), and (1-888-241-0049). They gave one website www.shopping essentials.com. So as soon as they came in I was going to call the numbers to cancel. The only problem was they never came. I called the rep Daniel and told him they had not arrived. he said they will be there. Then questioned him once again are you sure that it is one $50 card and not 2 $25 cards he said yes one $50 card; because my boyfriend had mentioned that it said something about 2 $25 cards so I said OK. Well after another week the retail card came and the $50 card didn't. The Retail Rebate card was actually 2 pieces of paper that had $100 on each one not a card. I went to the website( www.get retailrebates.com, and couldn't put anything in. I called the number the second one listed above that arrived with the pieces of paper, not a card. They said everything but how to go about getting the benefits. Finally after calling back the 3rd time. A rep #(91909) said that for all the misrepsentation she would send me a $200 check because i had threatened to launch a compliant or speak to a an attorney to make sure they would not mislead anyone again. I couldn't hardly understand the rep but i did understand that much. I told the rep to cancel the membersip of which they did. She said i would receive a check soon and have not yet. I called the other two numbers and canceled and asked some questions and found out that it was 2 $25 dollar cards which i would have to fill out a form to even get the cards. The rep from the (1-877-442-5574) said that. Of which i still have not received the information. The point is: i was told 1$50 walmart card would come with the $200 card and all this has been a complete and total fabrication of what i was told. I wan to get what i was promised. This has been an stressful experience. Please make sure these companies donot misinform anyone else. i would be very grateful to be able to get what i was promised. I will never do this again! Value Max Savings Service(www.valuemax123.com)(1-888-241-0049) and (1-877-442-5774)(www.shopping essentials.com).
