I wish to bring the following complaint for your kind information and early action.
I have purchased a mobile phone Nokia N72 from the sales unit of Univercell, coimbatore on 22.10.2008 for Rs.7, 800.00. As I found the phone is not working which needs some repair and service. I have given to Nokia care service centre at coimbatore on 15-10-2009 within the warranty period. For several occasion I have contacted personally and over phone to get back my mobile phone after service.But I was informed by the staff that repair not carried out. On 9.12.2009, I havepersonally went to the Nokia care service centre to get back my mobile phone, but my surprice the incharge staff of the Nokia care returned the mobile phone on the ground that it cannot be repaired as the warranty period expired. I told her that I have given the phone for service within the warranty period. But they have not taking any care to my request.
Since the warranty period of one year to the mobile phone expires only on 22-10-2009 and that I have given the mobile phone on 15-10-2009 before the expiry of the warranty period.
I request you to direct the concerned incharge of Nokia care at coimbatore to carry out the service to my mobile phone ot to supply a new mobile inplace of old phone given for service.
